you should just quit while you are COMPLETELY behind. the most recent cobras were massivle underrated and are still pretty much the best bang for buck car you can buy if you plan on modding. 25k TOTAL in an 03-04 cobra will give you a deep 11 second car with low miles and a comfy ride.

Yea, you do pay the difference, that is LIFE. now let's see what happens when a turbo swapped cobalt races a turbo v6 mustang. similar price to begin with (actually mustang is cheaper) similar investment in mods and the cobalt...will get SMOKED.

I have 35-40k invested into my INCLUDING the car. My car runs 10s on street trim, is 100% street legal and runs on pump gas. Not to bad for the price especially when everything on my car is good for 800-1000hp so I have a lot of room to grow.

The Cobra you are talking about was 99 Cobra not the 03/04 and the 03/04 was under rated.
