1g DSM vs Cobalt SS

Well, it didn't go so well for the SS while I was playing with him. I wont go into detail, but it was a hell of a beating.

Just wanted to know if the owner of a black Cobalt SS coupe was here, who ran into a blue 1g DSM in Mexico last night.

Don't come in here being a hard a.ss. You most likely raced a base model cobalt. Unless you have some pretty good mods. I'm gonna have to agree w/ Mkulrey13 on this one

people are always coming in here and making like One post, and telling us about their kills, It was probably a 2.4. Even though those 1Gs can be made crazy fast. They are ugly and 1980s tho. I wanted to get one as my project car.

DSM= Diamond Star Motors. any car built during the chrysler/mitsubishi alliance. dsm mostly refers to eclipses and eagle talons built during that time period. 1g means first generation. dsm's had really strong blocks in turbo trim and with a few mods can be pretty damned fast. the "best" ones were the talon tsi awd's and the eclipse gsx. they were awd 200hp 4 cylinder turbos and with a few grand could be very fast. it is basically like a wrx by eagle/mitsubishi built during the 90's.

because some people here can't handle when something beats their car. for all we know this dsm could be an 11 sec car, but none of you bother to even think about that. just let it be so if the cobalt owner is here he can post. don't post in it if you dont like it.

DSM=Damn Slow Machine? haha...

1G DSM= $1000 Danm Slow Machine....

As stated previously, its diamond star motors. 1G (first generation) are the boxish shaped Eclipse, Laser, and Talon. 4G63, etc....

They aren't "slow" or "shitty" cars. I'd imagine with faily minimal modifications, they would kick even a SS/SC stage 2 w/2.8" cobalts ass. Cut the guy some slack, he just came on here asking if anyone raced him. However, more details would help out that question a hell of a lot...

Remember, the Cobalt is not the fastest car in the world. It can, and will lose to other vehicles. Even older ones. I honestly don't feel my car is a bat out of hell. Its just a well balanced, reliable, reasonably quick, little car.....

You guys need to learn not to get your panties all in a bunch, and just apprecaite all cars for what they are, and capable of. Don't be mr. **********, and discriminate, and be a dick. Just go with the flow, and meet new people, and be the bigger person when you lose, or win a race.

Haha I was expecting to get this type of reaction from most of the members. It was a SS/SC.
cMw and cds00bsmg understood why I posted.

As far as mods:
Big 16g
510cc injectors
Intake
UICP
Turboback exhaust 2.25"
190lph FP
MBC at 15psi
Untuned

How do you know it was an SS/SC and not a 2.2/2.4 with an SS/SC wing?

And saying "I heard the blower" means **** to us, because anyone can say that to make themselves look cool.
