so did we ever determine if it really was a SS/SC and not a fake one? did we ever decide how bad of a beating it was? im sure the SS lost even if it was a true SS/SC, but i want more details. this post is absolutely pointless otherwise. its just gonna turn into another huge argument.

I understand where you're coming from, but if I was to list details of the run, it would just add fuel to the flame.

I noticed you're in the area, would you be interested in meeting up to have a couple runs? I've seen your posts in this section and saw the video of you and the srt4...I would like to take a crack at you Of course its all in fun, win or lose.

 

I used to have a 92 Laser RS...awd, turbo. I had the 16g turbo on it, that was it as far as mods. I loved that car, it was pretty fast too, it contended quite well with the other cars in my area.

Anyway, I always wondered how it would hold up against my ss/sc. I ended up racing a modded 92-94 eclipse gsx one day and i beat him fairly easily but now you have me wondering if it was that modded. Im going to have to find the kid and ask him what he has done to it.

Id like to hear more details UVA, not calling BS, just curious what went down. Good kill btw. Welcome to the site also.

UVA sorry for most of the bitching and complaining alot of these members are the reason I dont post here anymore. First good kill in any event. Nice mode list by the way I dont remember reading this or not and im to lazy to go back a couple of pages but is this on the stock clutch and intercooler? what kind of PSI are you running and when does your boost kick in? What kind of horsepower are you running? Did you race from a roll or a stop light. im pertty much stock right now except a retune and a filter but i will be in plano visiting my parents in the next couple of months we can run if you want.

Members on cobaltss.net you guys need to stop flaming people who come in here and post this stuff. Granted someone stated do we go to other sites and post kills. YES we do i can do a quick search and find were cobalt owners have gone to other sites and have posted a kill. Its the internet all he was trying to do was find out who someone was and run him again just in case something happened with the cobalt owner. I could understand flaming someone if he said cobalts are crap and stuff but he didnt. Also you guys have to understand the 4g63 engine has been out for god knows how long and has tons and i mean tons of aftermarket support these engines for the most apart are the same engines in the evos so its not unbelivable that this guy beet a cobalt ss/sc I personally havent lost to a gsx or gst yet because none are really that modded in the area. All these guys have to do is throw on a boost controller and set the boost up from there. So unless you have something to contribute to the coversation STFU and read or dont read at all. God all you little kids are starting to **** me off GROW UP.

yeah man you should come to a meet sometime. the couple guys that i meet with are real cool, not biased to just their cobalt. we always grab a couple beers and some food, talk cars and sometimes, if the weather permits, have some runs. there are a couple cobalts and an 06 GTO. a couple runs would be real fun, you sound like you have a pretty decent set up if you really are handing it to SS's.
what part of dallas are you in... near george bush, toll way, 75?

and i know what you mean about adding fuel to the flame, now that i think about it. the details would probably get strip searched for an explanation...

 

there is also a video somewhere of me and a 5.7L GTO. and in that vid of the SRT-4 it kinda looks like i killed him by about 10 cars, but really i only pulled about 1 1/2 cars on him before he let off. just thought i would throw that out there, that video got bashed hard by the SRT guys. i think the thread even got locked.

the video with the GTO is the only one i have. its the one where he redlined in 2nd and i won by 4 cars. the next race he didnt mess up and i only had about 2 cars on him that time.

 

im in nc but i use to live off of independnce BLVD. My parents now live near the mall in plano. I will be down there sometime next year to go visit my parents. depending on when i get up there i may have a cobalt addition stage 5 or 6 kit or hell may even just do the twin charge or just turbo kit depending on when i get there. Your not venting the BOV are you? what do you expect when you tune your car?

my buddy has one of these, what are they stock psi? he has a boost controller and all, but shifts at like 1500 rpms each gear (its so annoying!) cause hes afraid itll break cause its so old! but what are they stock?

lol i moved back to nc in jan 10th. trust me i would rather be in dallas sometimes. I use to drive around in a white eclipse that had an infinity sticker in the front and some decals on the side. it had some tinted windows.

I'll be getting dyno tuned at 18-20psi once I do some final maintenance, which should put me well over 300whp. Once I reach that, I stop haha FWD stops being fun when you can't get all the power to the ground. No, I'm not venting, I know better.

Stock is 8-9psi, maybe a notch more depending where you're located. Tune is coming soon
