I would agree with that stuff! As a previous owner of a beautiful 93 Eagle Talon TSI AWD! YEs they can be godammn fast for a realitivly small amount of money! Although I had about $7000 in mine (before marriage and bills came along!) I was runnin' consistant 10.70s pretty much all day long... check out www.buschurracing.com or www.machV.com and see for yourselves if they are fast or not! I bought the SS/SC because it reminded me alot of my old car (when I first got it!)

Sounds good, let me make sure that they're available. Im not certain if they stated this Friday or the next. If not, then I'll be a one man army

Excuse the dumb question, but what is the "twin peaks"?

twin peaks is very similar to a HOOTERS. except, twin peaks has MUCH better looking girls, MUCH better outfits, and MUCH MUCH MUCH better food. the girls wear little lumber jack outfits. "TWIN PEAKS"... catch the pun there? they also have a huge lot to park in and hang out.

no offence to you UVA....you seem like a fairly decent guy after a few posts.....

but you step into a Cobalt forum with <20 posts with a kill thread with things like "played with him"

you sound like a fairly intelligent person.....did you not expect this thread to get ugly?
just like PX7 said....how many cobalts come to your forum bragging off about kills the way you did?

And if any of them are stupid enough to do it.....do your DSM chums welcome him with open arms?

comon man dont step in here like this and then give us the puppydog eyes. you knew what you were doing. so expect it.

and if you dont have time for "that type of member".....theres the door. dont let it hit your ass on the way out. im sure you wont cry to hard at night over all the time and effort you spent getting to 20 posts on the cobaltss.net forum.

and before we get any fanboi comments about me....there is a 94 talon AWD in my immediate family and i have driven and loved them from the first time i saw them.

and i know DAMN well they can be made far faster than a cobalt right now.

if your gonna stick around UVA thats great. but lose the attitude and realise this IS a cobalt forum....and you are going to find people who are very attached to their cars here. just like youd find on a DSM forum, or any other car specific forum for that matter.

Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed? There have been 4 pages since my first post..the last 2-3 have just been car chat. You're a little late to jump on the "bashing" bandwagon.

Try again.

actually page 1 and 2 were you and a few members going at it pretty good.
with the last few posts on page 2 where you chatted with 1 person about twin peaks.

but yeah whatever. you missed the point of my post.

by the way 2 of us have asked it now.....
any cobalt owners come to your forums with tiny post counts bragging a win?

did your forum give them a big cuddle and welcome them to the family?

I think its a legitimate question.

i think half is a bit harsh...

though i agree there will be SOME, but youll find those people everywhere in the world.

I recently remember a guy posting pics of his 06 SI, there was a solid 5 pages of positive comments merely because he came into the post without a chip on his shoulder.

I can dig it up if you wish.

You just need to realise you dont walk into a harley davidson bar wearing yamaha leather and a chip on your shoulder and talking about how you just toyed with a softtail on the freeway.

(i know its a bad example) but you understand the point.

And you obviously missed the point of my first post..so here it goes... I-WAS-LOOKING-FOR-THE-DRIVER. The immature members were the ones who took that post wrong, whereas the mature members knew where I was getting at...

I did NOT come here with a chip on my shoulder. I started replying in a negative way when most of the members started being annoying, like now. Your reading comprehension skills are below par, so please go back re-read on what you neglected to acknowledge.

And to answer your question, no. No one has posted on the local boards about being beaten or winning.
