Last Sunday was going home with the wife from Greenwood, In. I was going north on US 31. Came up on a light that had a 80's vette and a blue Dodge Neon ext, before I got to the light it turned green and I just keeped going blew by both cars at around 40ish mph. Get to the next light I'm in the far left lane ( three lane rd) ford exploere in middle lane and the Neon in the right lane. Light turns Green, and I take off, not like to race just a normal pace. Well the guy in the neon just floors it, and the wife says " HE"S RACING YOU, GO GO GO". At that point I was around 20mph( he had maybe 1/2 to 1 1/2 car lenghts on me) and I just mash the pedal as far down as it will go, move to the center lane and just start walking on the Neon. By the time I was about to 60mph I had about 4-5 car lenghts on him I finally shut it down around 70mph. At the next light he came flying up and made a very sharp right turn and disapered down some side street. Not even a This was the first time anybody has tried to race me. And my heart was pumping like crazy for ten minutes afterwards


Now I know street racing was dumb ,but just could'nt let a dirty old neon beat me.

 

if i every find my wife she better say that atleast once.. " HE"S RACING YOU, GO GO GO"

or she wont be my wife for much longer haha.

I was thinking the same thing, If my women ever said that, i think i would pull over and kiss her! LOL she hates racing, so your lucky.

 

It suprised the hell out of me. Because just three days earlier she was in an accident with her SS. It's up to $9000 so far. Basically the entire front end is having to be replaced eacept for the engine. The list from the repair facility is over three pages long. So if anybody is wondering she was turning with the green arrow and some dick decided to come through the intersection and bash her front end in.

 

Ya I almost got wacked the other day. I was coming of I-91S in Mass to go on Route 5. Theres a red light at the end of the off ramp to turn right and the light turned green then this crazy women in a golden brown station wagon ran her red light and almost took me out for good. After it happend i was kinda mad I missed her since i need my front bumper repainted to go along with a new lip. lol but o wellz. I guess id rather be safe then sorry from that 50 year old brown haired women w/ glasses who if i ever see on the road is done for.

Same here. then she complains I never take her with me for late night "Hunting" with my buddy in his SRT-4

 

My gf likes it when I race because she says "it's hot". Haha

 

You are the luckiest man dude. My gf hates racing. She gets so mad. Even if I talk about it and she hears it from another room, she'll come after me and yell at me. I don't blame her but hey, I like speed. Good kill!!!!

haha, I thought I was the only one that goes "hunting" I am not a fan of street racing but there is a road that I found that is completely closed off and straight for two miles. It is also really wide so there is room for error. Lately I have been looking for people to take to this street but I have found not as many people as you would think drive sports cars

My girlfriend is the opposite of most. That’s why I love her. She schedules off work on Saturdays in the summer so she can go watch me race. She complains that I never race anyone when she’s in the car. Its always funny, when she’s in the car, no one will ever race. Drop her off at her house, pull out of her neighborhood, and BAM! always at least 1 race on the way home. I'm addicted to speed. I like the "head rush" effect.
