I was on my way home late last night, cruising down Bell rd, when i see a WRX. I tried to get the guy to race, but no bite. Then out of nowhere, a late 90's HB civic comes flying past me, turbo whistlin' and wastegate a gushin'. He ignores me, and lines up against th wrx. He didn't bite that either. So I said f it, and I caught up to the civic. We came across a red light. And the honda dude still didn't recognize I was trying to race him Guess he's never seen an SS, and thought i was a waste of time. So I instigated. This time, he took. We started at 30mph in 2nd gear. We were dead even until I shifted to third, then I was slowly creeping on him. His front bumper was on my tail when we shut down. He didn't even look at me, and turned onto the freeway.

better be careful man civics will bite ya in your ass usually if they are 1) spray painted (dead serious) 2) a hatch back


my friend ross has two of them, 1) with the CRV engine no F/I at all and has about 400 hp (spray painted black) completly stripped of everything but the two front seats!
second one is a red hatch quiet as hell until the waste gate opens 300+ whp with a b18

Oh believe me, I know they are bad sleepers. I just thought I would try anyways, and this time i came out on top. I normally would never race a turco HB, but I was hungry for a race.

Also beware of a 97 silver Integra. Nice clean and doesn't look like anything special. I think he was running mid 13's last time at Firebird.

man, why is it that so many people here are affraid to lose? its not like you have money on the line every time. if i lose, i see it as loosing to a faster car or a better driver(well, since i drive a WRX with launch control, i drive my car to its best every time)
