2.2 cobalt vs scion tc

Ok here the story. Me and my boys just got back from a nice cruise and deside to mess around. So I droped it to 4th and blink my boy in his tc. Here is the scenario my car has the stock steel and barely any rubber 67% oil life 145 to crank 125 to wheels 2770 curb weight and it was raining. The tc 3100 curb weight 160 to crank 132 to wheels a system stock bridgestones and he put around 4000 miles to it. Now it was a close race but I inched on him and won. boy it was a great race

Well I know it wasn't a smart thing I'm still beating myself up for it , but they were throwing at me that amrican cars are crap and that they can't hang . So I threw caution to the wind and ran him.

hey man, screw what everyone else says... nice win... if you like endangering your life, and other's lives, and totaling your new car, i say go for it!! nothing beats the car that changes lanes, there's nothing more fun than slamming on the brakes doing 100mph + in the rain! what a rush!!

you have to watch those things.....the Scion TC/SC will pull a 14.2 1/4 mile pass with no other mods. I dunno what it will do with maybe smaller pulley, exhaust and intake. At the beginning of last year I saw one run a 12.6, I couldnt beleive it .... but the guy had some sponcers so I know there must of been alot of money in it....I dunno if it was on the stock internals but I know it was the stock sized engine with the supercharger.

I really really like them I think they are good looking, the interior is designed great. I have a 4 door wrx and those 2 door scions have a HUUUUUGE back seat in comparison, riding in the back is GREAT. And it seems like the TRD S/C makes them pretty damn fast....

I'd rock the S/C version

I have raced one too from a red light. We ran to about 90 and I was a good 3 cars ahead. I think the TC's are over rated as well.
