2.4 ss vs Altima

Driving back to a friends house and this altima decides to fly by me.. i think nothing of it and then he slows down and does it again... so after about 5 mintues of us speeding by each other we finally come to a red light and it is obvious he wants to race. I really thought it would be a better race, especially since i had one of my larger friends in the car (haha no offense dude) and he had nobody but it was fun. i was ahead of him by 3 cars before i had to turn. fun night! 1st kill in the cobalt!

must of been the 2.5 motor. I don't think we'd beat a 3.5 Altima.
But yeah kill!

Our 0-60 is right there with the 3.5 so from a dig its a wash. Since we have F/I we probably walk them from a roll. Hardest part about the CSS/IRL is launching the car. Wheelhop and slipping is a bitch.

These guys are driving the 2.4 not the 2.0. Look a little closer.

well i have an s/c and my dad has a 3.5 auto. the 3.5 is a pretty quick car, i often wonder how a race would turn out,id think pretty close, 3.5 would prolly take us off the line but we would have it from a roll

I raced an auto. with a CAI and exhaust. The SS/SC is faster! The 6 speed manual would most likely be a drivers race.

The 6spd is only found in the SE-R and has dipped as low 13.8 bone stock. The 5spd and auto in the 3.5 is capable of high 13s and low 14s bone stock.

My cousin has a 5 speed, his would never break into the 13s! He can give me a hell of a run though!

Some have, my only point. They are one of the biggest sleepers in the car world today.

Yeah! I was thinking of it, but none of the Nissan salesmen would approach me, so I went elsewhere. But a lot of people don't even know about the Altima SE-R.
