i was turning onto the highway today and my light was green about to turn yellow. so i turn onto the highway i see a 1999ish honda civic SI the light blue kind. and i saw it had after market rims and then it was lowered. so im like to my friend watch he is going to try to ketch use on the highway. sure enought i look and here he comes trying to ketch up to use. i go into 4th gear and floor is and just start pulling and he is geting father back. so we slow down and he gets closer he gets right up on the side of use and we go from about 80mph and buy i got to 125 i had about 4 to 5 cars on him. my friend loved it. he always thought amarican cars cant beat imports. well now he things difforent. from looking and hearing the civic it had intake and a muffler and was lowered and tinted windows. and it said DOHC Vtec on the side under the rear door trim

 

good read,when I have cars doing this to me,and I finally bite,I give it to them then I also slow down to see if they want to try again,thats when they won't even look at ya

 

I beat a 03 civic si in my 2.4 too. I pulled up next to him & he wanted to go. So I pulled about 3 cars lengths on him and then slowed down. He thought I had the supercharger!

when i slowed down he got beind me so he saw my car said pontiac G5 GT on the back so maybe right now he is online trying to fine out what kinda motor i have lol. it was funny i loved seeing him get so far back. i cant wait to get this car on the dyno.

 

The 2.4 has more power and way more torque than a pre-2006 Si... should be an easy win... even for an automatic.

Modded things can be a bit difference.

hrmm. How long does it take a 2.4 ss to pull to from 80 to 125? Not trying to start ****, just curious.

im not to sure it didnt take it that long at all. i was looking in my mirror the most seeing him get farther and farther back lol
