Well this was quite a fun couple races. Heading back to my house after dinner with my girlfriend and as Im getting onto 270 I hear and see this hatchback in front of me so I figure I would catch up to him. I was kinda in the mood to race so as I got on the highway I stayed in third and drove past him with the engine revving pretty loud. Caught his attention so he decides to catch up to me. We were playing around for a bit cause of traffic, but then once it cleared we were ready to go. From a roll at about 40 we go at it, Im in third and I watched the Civic drop down into second. The exhaust on that Civic went from loud to deafening when he dropped into second, I knew the infamous V-Tec was kicking in. So we go, he pulled up about three feet on me but once I got to the top of third I was pulling on him. As I was getting ready to shift into fourth I look back and see I have the guy by about 4 or so cars so I just dropped it into neutral and let him catch up. We wait for traffic to clear then go at it again, this time we both start in second, again at about a 40 mph roll. This time I jump early, by about half a car, then that Civic got so damn loud I couldnt even hear my car, I thought he was pulling on me, I felt a little ashamed, that was until I hear my girlfriend say, "Holy **** you smoked him!" I checked the mirror and sure enough as I was about to go into fourth I had to be at least 8 to 9 cars ahead. As I head to my exit the guys drives past, I rolled my window down to give the peace sign, cause thats how I roll, and he gives me a friendly honk to congratulate me. All in all it was a good race, and what made it better was my girlfriend wanted to go out and do it again, but she wanted to drive the next time.

 

hahaha nice kill man way to go to represent the 2.4. lol my gf would hit me if i try to race with her in the car. it sucks because thats when i find all the races is when she is with me grrrr. when im by my self i cant find a race.
