well me and my friend were off to my other friends house to get my aquarium. When a lancer pulls up next to us at the light. I take a glance and notice a massive aluminum wing on it, and instantly burst into laughter from the sight of it. Now my friend was driving my car, and he looks over to me and like a fat kid in a candy store says "can I kill him?" I said "sure my fat little candy hungry friend." The passenger in the lancer asks if my car was an SS, and my friend replied "no its not supercharged, and that it just has the wing, and front end of an SS/SC. Well a couple of seconds later the light turns green the guy takes off like a bat out of hell, while my friend barely hits the gas. Then he punched it and instantly gained ground and passed him. Thats the most action I've had in about a month lol, so far the car is 27w and 7L. Hope yall enjoyed, and didn't fall asleep.

I'm sorry but those things are slower than molasses. My auto 2.2L smokes the hell outa them. I have raced two different ones, and I put 6+ lengths before the end of second gear. My friend at work owns one of them, and he has intake exhaust, header, downpipe, and a tune of some sort. I have killed him from digs, 20 rolls, 40 rolls, 60 rolls, it just doesn't matter. Although I did just beat a stock 2.4L SS cobalt to 80mph by about 3 lengths four days ago.

I don't mean to downplay your win, but I know you should be able to slaughter them.

I'm just curious, but what mods do you have, if any?

 

my girl has an auto Lancer ES...all I have to say is I thought my car was slow. Man that thing is in great need of some type of power adder.

lol I know they are really slow, and like I say I haven't seen any action in months. So I just put him in place lol. Another thing every car I see is either way out of my league or super slow.

 

Sometimes it is good to let them know who is boss.

I know about finding cars that are a good race, I'm in that same position, and it kinda sux. The closest races I can find are B18 swapped CRX's, or modded RSX's (not RSX-S). I guess I need to start droppin some more $ into the balt.
