i saw the kid today at my work, haha i dont like to talk trash before or after races but my assistant service manager found out that we raced and i beat him and when the kid asked if his summer tires were done for the 8th time he said "sorry but we just want to make sure we do them just right, so next time you race my mechanic he doesnt smoke your ass" haha, i guess he stopped asking after that. he has intake and a cat-back now and i asked if he wanted a rematch but he declined... maybe i'll let him reclaim his dignity after he gets a catless downpipe... unless he is that bad of a driver

you're gonna have a lot of fun, what kind of forced induction are you going with? and how much power are you expecting?

well it's between a procharger at 10psi which people are making about 330-340rwhp with, and the powerhouse turbo at 6.5 psi on the street, and probably 8 for the track. One of the guys on mustangforums is trapping just under 120 with the turbo setup on 12 psi and made 370rwhp and 400 ft lbs to the wheels on 9 psi. He blew his tranny at 11 psi though with over 440 ft lbs i beleive, so if i go turbo im gonna keep it at 8ish at most. The turbo kit is expensive, but i have the cash and god damn it is insane. peak boost by 2900 rpm's and 400 ft lbs on only 9 psi . The company that makes it just ran an 11.00@129mph on the stock block, so im not to worried about the engine, but this god damn tranny (t5) is just not reliable over 400 ft lbs from what i hear. I'm gonna change my license plate to something saying it's a v6 once i go forced induction, just to make sure there is no denial about the single exhaust meaning it is a sixer

Oh yes! You have taste! I would do the same! I'd do some JDM stuff to it, probably a conversion or something. Go all out on it.

Too mnay people have 350Z's. I like being unique. I'd get the G35X.

i like how low the torque peaks on the new 4.0 v6 mustangs, i'm moving to ny and am getting new plates, i want to get a vanity tag that makes ppl underestimate my car and makes ppl think i over estimate it, like 205bhpfast but maybe less gay haha idk. i hope you get you're car together soon whatever gives good power and is reliable as long as you're beating the bolt-on v8s

haha there was a kid at my school with a jetta gli who's license plate read "VTECLOL" unfortunatly for him he wasnt modded enough to beat the 13second bubble at my school... i was considering 205hp as a license plate but yeah i want something good, maybe LOLVTECH haha... well maybe not unless i'm in the 12s haha

maybe 2slow2passive, or cavalier, or bolt-on balt?

hahaha for real, that would be a good one! point out what everyone thinks i'd think... in reality i know its the there to wobble and abstruct my vision aka appeal to the younger crowd.but i do think it makes cars want to race me and put me "in my place" so its grown on me.

haha yep. nobody ever wants to race me probably because my exhaust is really loud. I don't get ANY racing experience because of this...kinda pisses me off, im going to the track this weekend to start getting some experience. Only people that ever rev at me on the street are like gto's and sti's and ****. I kinda just pretend i dont see em LOL!

faststcronroad, brlylegal, gr840mphroll... that reminds me there was a "club" with barely legal stickers on a stock 3.8 mustang and a v6 camaro at my college... people just thought that they just turned 18 or something. i do not have half as much respect for the 3.8 as i d othe 4.0, i guess i've just seen too many poorly done ones, and no quick ones. the ones i've seen are always done up like civics

haha thats funny, i have to do that this time of year to all the bikes on the road, they all have to taunt me, as if i think my car is fast... i think almost every bike either revs at me or gets on it

yea, the 4.0 has developed a better modding community really fast, but the real hardcore 3.8 guys have some real impressive ****. Justin of VMP tuning ran a 10.9 in his 3.8 on the stock longblock with a tt setup. pretty ******* insane. I think the modding community for the 4.0 developed alot more because we see much much better gains with bolt ons.

well, the manuals are about a half sec faster than the later 3.8 manuals (4.0's run low 15's/high 14's and 3.8's run mid 15's). The autos are the huge difference though. The slushbox in the 3.8's was just **** and they ran low 16's and that kinda crap. the new 4.0's have 5-speed autos that are tuned quite a bit better and they can run low 15's stock.

true, ew what about the 95 6 cylinders, haha they had like 150 hp right? freaking gross

does bolt-on balt portray any fake cockiness or no, i'm always a fan of alliteration

i think they actually had 140hp hahahha that is where the v6's got the HORRIBLE reputation. i think bolt-on balt would get you alot of races because they know you are actually modded.
