yeap, I and some other dudes from mustangforums shed some light in that forum cuz those guys are just clueless

 

THe new eclipses don't look that bad, and honestly sitting on our forum and flaming them is no better then them.

 

The thread was not intended for flaming or bashing the 4G Eclipse GT, but you have to admitt that some folks from that forum are just clueless and deserved the flaming

 

I don't think they look that bad but reading that thread made me want to rissa is right though they do look a little like insects...

 

Trust me, there are way more dumb people in this forum...

probably typical clueless people not knowing there are "were" 2 versions of the SS

yea that is basically what sorta happened in 2000 and they have been working with it since

I can say they are decent cars, my bro has a 4G GS, it is by no means a cornering car or road course kinda car though, the car feels too heavy and has tons of body roll

I have raced a ton of the GTs and I have only lost to 1, all of the other times I walked on them, it wasnt a slaughter or anything of the nature, just a fender to a half car kinda victory

They aren't terribly slow, but the majority of S2 balts trap as fast/run very close to spot 3 and down...

yeah i'd bet this stock 4G's are runnin 2.4L SS not SS/SC's.

 

idk i'm stage 2 and i raped one..i mean i just left him standing still...those cars are just so ugly....

 

What 2.4 is trapping 107 in the 1/4?

 

and what SS/SC is trapping slower then the GTs from the above list... yet these same Modded GT's are walking stage II's on the road...

lol.. hows that when the ss/sc traps higher in the quarter?

these guys just dont know what SS version they are racing.. they are confusing the 2.4 for the ss/sc

i trap 103-105 with stage II only... there is only 1 GT in that list that traps higher.. *boggle*

my friends 98 gti vr6,built head beats a bone stock 4g eclipse by about 1 car from a dig

Sometimes I have a hard time remebering that stage 2 is not stock..I got mine from the dealer ship with CAI, STG 2, and Corsa Sport.

That being said I pulled away from a HARD from a 4th Gen GT with at least an exhaust. Stock vs Stock the 4th Gen is faster...but not by much.

 

Those 4g's are soft, ugly, girl cars. Period.

 

The same is said internet-wide about the Cobalt. I love how we've sunk to their level.

 

LOL those eclipses have to be the girliest cars ever. Has anyone ever seen the interior? Huge buttons with little lights everywhere. A *** wagon.
