90's Ford Probe vs 06 Cobalt?
I haven't raced them yet, but they're just always saying that their "working mans mustang" is so bad ass.
if it were so badass the timing wouldn't have skipped a tooth after this "master mechanic" replaced it in his garage.
It's a 5speed v6 and they just hold it as if it were able to beat ANYTHING on the road the only real mod I know of is exhuast and thats about it.
So far my friend has beat it in his stock '89 Beretta and he said it was cake with his 2.8l MPI
I'm just wondering if I have a chance at this.

the last of the probes ran flat 16s with good drivers when new. the ones to worry about are the later 80's turbo 4s. with very minimal tweaking and being well maintained, the regularly pull into the 14s. a friend of mine owns one with 160,000+ miles that consistantly pulls 14.7-15. not sure whats done to it, other than rebuilt stock turbo, "ram air", and exhaust.
