My car is turbo balt with no mods his is a 99 convertible salleen supercharged. Car is stock.Were on our cruise today heard him drop it down a gear at about 65 so i drop it to 3rd. I punch he does the same don't know the speed i shut down i no lifted into 4th then slowed down. He didn't spank me into the ground in fact it was dead even. I'll give him the win since I have no chance in a dig. All i know is i heard a ton of blower whine he was on it.
Also raced a b16 crx. Thing was pretty quick i put a half a car on him and keep it there didn't make it to 4th. Car had full exhaust header intake no tune and not sure on internals but its the best sounding honda I have heard.

 

ur turbo bone stock, and u barely beat a b16 crx????? u should of killed him or were u jus messin around with the kid the b16 v tec is ok but if he kept up with u im sure he must of been on spray and had a few internals or somthin cuz you should be spankin that v tec

 

you can weight reduction a whole of alot get em to about 1800 and maybe a little lighter.

you can make a b16 have about 250whp pretty easily.

that being said those can hall ass.

 

a gutted N/A CRX can move out pretty well.

Kids car weighs 2200 pounds with him and his girlfriend. The car is built up without a tune.

My car weighs 2800ish then add 3 guys averaging 220 pounds and a full tank of gas. That's why it was a close race.

 

Nice runs. Those year Saleens with the S/C were nothing great.

 

yes but they look amazing IMO i almost bought one before my car but so happy i decided on the cobalt so far im the only one in my area with the tc. surprising a lot of people.

 

That is the luxury of driving an SS/TC, especially if you're modded and tuned. It surprises ALOT of people.
