I could give a **** about those, the one I'm curious about is an older A4. I know the good audi's can be fast as ****, but this one, I'm not so sure.

The 2005 was only like 7.2 0- 60 and 1/4 mile at 15.5 but this was the 2.0l turbo

A4's and TT's are just "eh".

 

he porb just has a 1.8 t. in which case you shouldn't really have a problem they have only around 160hp, but it could also be the 2.0 which are just under 200.

TT's just look like crap, and are slow. i would never get that, or let anyone i know get that.

 

To me they are just an overpriced slightly re-shaped VW Bug.

Also, his rear badge says "2.3L Quattro" I went out and double checked. Did a quick google didn't come up with any useful information, anyone know any numbers about that engine?

It's too bad this guy is a total **********, otherwise I'd ask him to race, but he makes me want to punch him every time I see him.

 

I say he probably has a chipped (lightly modded) S4 if he's that confident... otherwise he's just a knucklehead talkin trash
find out what it is before you commit... S4's w/ AWD traction can be pretty darn fast!

sticking with the 2.2, got college coming up, but got ss.sc shocks and springs, headers/dp/ and maybe exhaust soon. all have got to be installed though. Its just too cold for me to do it right now.

the 2.3 isn't an a4 by the way, its one of their discontinued series, its either an 80 or a 90, im saying 90 because it is the newer one of those.

Me and my friend Andy and Chris (my friend with the yellow SS/SC, NamedGoBalt) just came in from washing my car, changing my oil, installing my Progress rear sway bar and re-installing my front Powerslots. (I had my front Powerslots off b/c I had that broken wheelstud a while back that messed up the front left rotor) Its like 52 out now, so nice.

 

i would be today, but i got too much hw that i have been blowing off all week. and i want to watch the game tonight not worrying about it. And the 2 guys that would help me, 1 is at work, and the other is with his girl. which would put me into a hard position trying to do it all myself.

 

you need find better info. if its like 3-5 years old it has either a 1.8t or a 3.0. There is no 2.3 liter in that year audi. Audi does have a 5 cyl. 2.3 but it isnt in an a4. any chipped 1.8t is faster then a 3.0. and apr is a good chip but you guys do now there are more powerful ones out there right? Revo, GIAC are just to name some stronger chips. Go out and race him. ig you lose you lose if you win you win. but dont come on here with no info about the car or info that is bull.

 

Only car the SS has to worry about is the S4, A chipped 2.0T A4 or any of the other S cars

 

That's odd then, maybe he rebadged his car. Which is possible, but I really doubt he'd try to sleeper anything, he's not the type. He's more the in-your-face 'my **** is awesome and better than yours' kind of guy.

Ah well. I'll let it rest for now, but if I hear him talking any more **** I'm for sure gonna go ask him to put his money where his mouth is.
