wow damn i haven't been on in a while and this thing seemed to explode and to answer your questions all i have is a fujita f5 CAI and i'm not some retarted teenager who doesn't know how to drive. I know the ss is fast so i was surprised that i won but it was a really close race it was only by 1/2 a car each time. it was on the the street so i think is that he spun at the line i wouldn't post this if it didn't happen. idk i've beat plenty of cars that should have mopped the floor with me. Remember the driver can make a world of difference. and about the z28 i haven't seen any fast ones around here i've ran a few and this ss was alot faster. idk what year it was just some guy driving like an ass.

I beated a Z28 at the dragstrip! I even have valuable videographic evidence. Seriously I did, killed him on the tree and honestly it was still a crappy reaction time.

Vid went out right before I expected his time to flash.

Actually the left lanes board was out that day... well for about 2 months really, they finally got it fixed. But to answer your question it was a 13.419 @ 108 (I had to dig thru my slips ) He was coming like a freight train at the traps.

Yeah that RT helps a ton when you are out gunned. I'm usually pretty consistent .08 to .10 area, that time it wasn't so well. I'm pretty good about killing the tree if I'm up against an AWD car, .007 is my best and that was against an STI.

With a 108 trap, I'm sure he could pull off a 13.0-13.1 with ease.

Lots of mis-info here...the z28 is 305horsetpowers...and the ss is 325horsetpowers so obliviously its way faster I pull the z28 frum roll "all the time" but the ss wins cause its a faster.

so:
z28=260rwhp
ss=280rwhp
weght around 3900lbs

Weight of the 4th gen F-bodies was from 3130 to 3350 I think(V8s anyway). As for the power ranges, they started off with different heads than they ended up with by 2002. A common, cheap mod is replacing the 1998 LS1 heads with ones from 2001-2002.

With an intake and stall converter my 2002 stripper SS was making 325 hp on a mustang dyno.

MSN autos say weight is 3380-3577(forgot convertibles)

Why does he continue to be such an instigator here?

Doesn't help matters on a site full of a younger crowd set.

"Turd" is a perfect name...................

How long before he is banned?

Everything in his post is a joke and WRONG. It is like braille on the exit row of an airplane..............unnecessary

Sounds like some of your info is misleading. But some I do agree with the TA's being a little heavier and M6's being a little faster ect...

Tyler
LT1s are slow most run mid to high 14.s. 13.3 at 107 If someone made a stock LT1 run 13.3 they could make a stock TC run 12.9. They are only 245 whp and 3400 lbs no way.

What? are you uneducated or something? Try to post a sentence that actually makes at least some sense next time.

Actually the LT1 F-bodies were alittle faster than 99-04 Mustang GT's, and those year GT's were low 14 second cars, which puts the LT1 F-bodies in the high 13's on average, definately nowhere near a mid to high 14 second car.

My "in great shape" totally stock Lt1 ran a best of 14.3

It was a low 14 second car and that's it.
Maybe a 13.9 on a perfect day, launch, tire, driver, etc.....

Of course there is exceptions but if we are talking "average," they were low 14's as an average.
Like an ls1 avg is mid 13's..............

I'm not saying you're a shitty driver, but I've seen numerous stock LT1 F-bodies get into the 13's. I used to own an 01 Mustang GT and with a low 14 second time at best, I would get beat by LT1's all the time, I mean of course I would beat some, but 7 out of 10 times I would lose.
