So I'm pulling out of the complex where I live yesterday. I'm stopped at the entrance waiting on cross traffic to clear so I can turn out left and looky looky, a new 07' Blue Granite Balt pulls up behind me. (I can see the LS bumper as they pull up)
I know they see the SS on the back, so I'm not thinking they really want it that bad. So I drop it into "I" , pull out a give it about half throttle then let off some, just to let them know that I'm running engine mods. They immediately whip out behind me and I hear their engine go WOT and they start closing in on my ass. (pretty fast too, surprised me how quick that car came out of the hole)
Fine, I got about 1/2 mile of open road ahead, let's see you keep up.
I hammered it and pulled away about 15 car lengths before I let off. (Just in time to catch the red light at the end of the road, that's what I get for haulin so much ass. Front of the line to wait at the stop light)
After a few seconds the other cobalt pulls in to my left in the turning lane and it is!!!!!

You guessed it. Two HAWT girls and they're giving me the thumbs up, smiling and looking over at my car . I try to play it cool but I think I ended up with a goofy **** eating grin on my face. Luckily I didn't screw it up worse by making an obscene hand gesture or blowing a kiss or something retarded.

So in the end they completely overshadowed my faster car by making me feel like a dweeb.
