Beat my first vette today! ;)
YouTube - LS3 corvette 11.60 - 1/4 mile
there is one trapping 123 with headers and intake, and NO tune
that is Zo6 numbers........but go LNF

for the dyno folks:

bone stock 390whp
i mean i'm the corvette fan boy here, so I mean some videos shouldn't hurt anyone's feelings
i'm the one being unrealistic that a 310whp Cobalt is outrunning a 390whp Corvette

and how about the LNFs that haven't broke 300 on a lot of dynos? going to post those up as well?
or are all of those 330whp
that is why I said average, the LS3 AVERAGES 380whp... the LNF AVERAGES 310whp(and that is being generous)
its down 70whp, is still not rear wheel drive, still doesn't have those sexy ass rear tires behind it, still is going to lose
I personally know a guy that put down 370whp stock in a Ls3 camaro on a loaded Mustang dyno(heartbreaker), 381 intake only, 405 with headers and an intake, and 421 with a tune
on a dynojet, he'd be around 440whp

Hmm, if a stock LS3 vette is a 119-120mph car I would love to know my 1/4 trap considering my 60-120 is literally a second faster.

You are by far the biggest Corvette nutswinger I have EVER seen. I'm not continuing this because in your mind a Cobalt can never beat a Corvette. You go ahead and keep thinking that, ignorance is bliss.
i've never said a Cobalt COULDN'T beat a Corvette, but with equal drivers, its absolutely no contest.. and in the same light we can compare a stock Cobalt SS to a 2011 Mustang GT, as we're comparing a tuned/bolt-on Cobalt to a Base Ls3 corvette... any wins are nothing worth bragging about, you might as well been racing a mini cooper
other than that: I said they could trap close to 120mph, every freaked the f*ck out...
I said they ran 11.7-11.8s stock, every freaked the f*ck out...
video proved both of those right
now lets see the video of a Cobalt racing a LS3 vette, this should be interesting, any takers on the results?
i'd love to see it from a dig, a 25 roll, a 40 roll, a 65 roll, a 110 roll... whatever you guys want

Then I'm going to go out on a limb and say that most Corvettes are owned by middle aged people going through a mid life crisis, and don't know much about cars, except for the fact that the badge says Corvette so they are therefore cool again, or old people that aren't the best at getting out of a parking spot on their own, much less quickshifting or something... so the bad driver thing may hold true. lol

YouTube - Cobalt vs camaro
ZL550 Camaro vs 2 SS/TC's. Red car is a s252 car on 20psi,, Camera car is mine. I jumped first run.

Sorry for shitty music, was trying out the spray in 1st and 2nd and wasn't too worried about it.

another bad vid, 03 cobra, full exhaust, SRA swap with gears (dunno which ones), 2.76 pulley, intake, tunnnneee
BUT COBALTS ARE SLOW

dont try and argue with the guy.. in his mind nothing can beat a vette.. especially a TC balt.. he's obviously oblivious to the fact that not everyone is a pro driver and a cobalt when tuned and bolted can beat a vette under the right circumstances which is what happened with the OP obviously. he's juist in denial because corvettes aren't supposed to lose..
as some people have already said, they have seen LS3 vettes run 14's at the track before and a tune and bolted balt could probably run high 12's low 13's with a good driver... so why is it so hard for you to believe those same drivers could have a run in on the street from a roll and the balt could come out on top?
you sir are just ignorant to that fact... you forget that a race involves the cars AND the drivers ... and driver skill plays into a race... so if the vette driver sucks the balt wins... end of story...

lol at this thread....
some of the keynote's....dont feel like quoting people...
"yeah i love when people say they beat a corvette or something like that in a 45 roll street race like that is any good measure of what car is faster or not"
^^your a ******* idiot
"sound's like he needs a driver mod"
to do what? ******* sit there? driver mod only comes into play when your doing a race from a dig!
nice kill dude!
p.s. roll tide!

Lol ....... or the current generation of midlife corvette owners are the one's that lived threw the hidth of the muscle car era . Just something to keep in mind 8)
My father bought a LS2 C6 a couple years ago and has been a gear head all his life . He was 16 back in 1968 and has owned or driven it all lol. I think we might start seeing some pretty cool "old guy's" in Corvette's with the experience this generation has......
I know my dad couldn't leave his alone and after a year or so with minor mod's ....... had to throw a paxton SC on it and is running it at 8 psi hehe.
since when does roll racing only require 1 gear and no shifting? Pretty sure shifting requires some skill. Not as much skill as from a dig but theres still some skill involved. Not saying i agree with roll racing, personally i think its ******* gay, but the point still stands.
if you can get the thing to roll and not stall you can race from a roll...even my wife could beat the hell out of a stick....
dig>roll....im a driver though
i was puting down 1.8 second 60' when i was 16....(04 stage 3 roush classic)
dig>roll....im a driver though
as I said, you can teach ANYONE to race from a roll in a matter of DAYS, not weeks, months, or YEARS like it can take to master drag racing from a dig(especially on the street away from prepped track)...
too bad it wasn't a 6-speed automatic vette, that way he would have walked the OP, been drinking a cup of coffee while doing so, and ended this discussion a long time ago
because a LS3 Vette is a faster car, point blank period...

never had I said a S252, S256, etc. Cobalt couldn't outrun a LS3... just the tiny Ko4 IS NOT
for those keeping tabs, I have a almost full bolt on LNF with a 23psi tune.... my time slip? only an 1/8th mile slip:

obviously I can launch with a 2.0 sec, 60' on street tires, its a pretty good time... should be good for 12.7-12.8s..........guess what still A LOT slower than a Ls3 Corvette
also for those keeping count, every thing i've said in this forum HAS been showed by video
Found a'99 GT with termi swap, t56 and etc. with the SRA still, has the full termi exterior swap with brakes too. 9k. I almost want to pick it up. Hmm school money > another car
