No reason for that. I also don't think the truck could make 1400 whp either with just a single big turbo unless its shooting like 600 hp of nitrous. From the things I have read around 1100 is max with a single and juice. Not saying it cant be done, just haven't seen it.

This is my buddies Silverado. GM dealer put a blower on it. He's running high 13's and still has a GM full warranty.

Here's a local guy that got Lysholm to use his truck to test their supercharger kit for the 5.3. The truck is essentially a base model work truck. Steel wheels and all.

Here he is running 11's.

I hate obnoxious trucks. I will always run them at least once just to make them look stupid to whoever is their car with them talking mad **** about the yellow cobalt.

Last night I had a 2010 camaro in front of me at a light and I saw him punch it so I punched it and caught up really really fast and then backed off, didnt even get to the speed limit yet. I made my determination that it was a v6 so I let him do his thing and keep speeding off. I kept a 10 mph over speed limit speed and what do you know I catch up to him at the 3rd light, get behind him and follow him on to the exit ramp to have some highway fun. I left it in 4th gear at 50mph and punched it after giving him a second or two to get his wheels rolling and blew past his left side. Then I slowed down and went the speed limit waiting for him to catch up so we can go side by side. He went the speed limit too and decided he was done for the day I guess >

I hate when anybody acts all tough in their car and then backs off before they can really test it out against a "rolling guy" <- Tokyo Extreme Racer humour.

 

Just spoke with him briefly this morning. His fastest 1/4 was a 10.6.

One thing is I did end up sayingi don't think it will do 160. Bit the first thingi said wasit will NOT do 80-160 in a few seconds. IF it does 160 I bet it takes at least 15 seconds

Didn't realize this would start such a controversy lol. I'm not saying everyone who drives a truck with an exhaust is a tool, but they are just as obnoxious as ls owners or mustang owners. Even some cobalt owners I've just laughed at and kept driving. I have no problem with any car or truck. I love vehicles that are done right. I just find it funny when someone pulls up in a cummins and thinks it runs 10's just because it has stacks.

i pulled out slow from a steep drop at a light so i wouldnt smash my h/e. well some kids had daddies truck out. they pulled up next to me revving it and i laughed with my window down. they started yelling ****. so i told them to grow up and to give daddies truck back. shut them up pretty quick.

i did race a dirty on the eway over the summer and it stayed right with the cobalt until 130. i was impressed

 

I get harassed by more trucks then anything in town, mind you I don't entertain 98% of them. But I do like to pick on the new ram's, that Hemi badge adds 5 inches if you didn't know.

 

Diesels are a whole different animal. I lost to one on my M62 setup till we hit a turn Now its a different story.
