Got a light with a 330i manual with m3 wheels and spoiler. we both launched with minimal wheelspin, I no lift shifted into 2nd, started pulling hard. He gave up before I even got to wind out second. I get the feeling he knew what was inevitable.

 

he prolly just let off... a stock 330ci pulled my buddies stg 2 balt wit bolt ons from a dig bad and from a 40 he pulled around 3 cars...

BMW has never used a V6...they use an I-6, which made 225hp in the 330ci coupe for 2006.

IIRC, 2007 and 2008 there was the 335i which has the 300+ hp twin turbo monster engine.

 

Yeah a current gen 335i or 335xi or a 135i for that matter would take on a SS/TC easily.
But yeah last gen's a SS/TC would easily take on...

 

i believe the 330ci was underrated from the factory to attract sales to the one up... m3.... bc if it only made 225bhp and weighed as much as it did... i cant c how it ran high 13s wit just a dinan intake.... the boy has slips to prove it and i was there....

 

Then the track must have been down hill or by intake you mean he has Dinan supercharger...

My friend has an 06 330ci...I will race him sometime.

i did all the work on this boy's car// i mean come on he drives a bmw... lol he couldnt even change his own oil...... and i believe his slip was for a 13.8 or so...and he trapped like 106 or 107......

 

Yeah, I know all about this one lol. My dad bought himself a new 2008 BMW 335i. He let me take it for a little spin to see what I was up against. Yeah, after flooring it on your straight away, I knew right there, I wasn't going to win. Once those twin turbos spool up and kick it, it's all over for me lol. But we still went. And yeah, I lost. 1st lost since owning the car and I had a few races here and there. But maybe next year i'll have a chance. Maybe.
