Poor Poor Pontiac.
driving home from work today a guy in a like 2007 Grand Prix GT came flying up and cut me off to get in front of me at a stop light. So the light turns green and he takes off like a bat out of hell and i just stay right on his ass and he keeps it pinned to the floor and i end up having it in fifth and am right behind him and then he goes into another lane and leaves me free to go ahead so i punch it in 5th and slowly crawl on him and then shift to 4th and fly by him he keeps ******* with me for another couple miles and i just keep it in fourth or fifth and slowly pull on him....we get up to a stop light and he rolls his window down and was like damn whats done to that saturn...i was like nothing really just supercharged stock and he was like damn thats fast and i was like yeah i didn't really open her up either and then i asked him what he had done he said just drop in filter. He also had big ass rims 19 or 20 inch is my guess so that didn't help him much.
thats all.
thats all.

I used to have a Grand Prix GT 3800 N/A 205 HP 215 Ft-lbs. It had quite a bit of torque for what it was but it would only do 0-60 in 8 sec . Until I put the turbo on And $4,500 l8r: 325 HP, 340 ft-lbs. Then it still would only do 0-60 in 6 sec if it didnt burn off half the tires. Best 1/4 mile was in 12.8 sec. But what do you expect a 4 dr Grand Prix, its 4500 lbs The Gas mileage sucked.

I smoked a GTP by at least 8 cars from a stop. got it on video :-) not a GTP s/c just a regular GTP. theyre two different models. Its like people who beat SS cobalts they thing the SS is automatically the supercharged model.

What 16 second car are you talking about?
I sure hope it's not the Grand Prix in the first post, cause that is NOT at 16 sec car.
2007 GP-GT = L32
I'd say the GP's problem was a combination of too big of wheels and crappy driving.
Grand Prix GT (until 2005) = NA 3800
Grand Prix GTP (until 2005) = Supercharged 3800
Grand Prix GT (2006-2007) = Supercharged 3800
Grand Prix GXP = 5.3L V8
G6 GT (until 06)= 3.5L V6
G6 GTP (unitl 06) = 3.9L V6
G6 GT (after 06)= 3.9L V6
G6 GTP (06-07) = 3.6L DOHC V6
G6 GXP (after 08) = 3.6L DOHC V6
Edit: the GP section is actually "until 2005"

the GT was made past 04 and still had the n/a 3.8L V6
The GTP was supercharged
and the GXP was a 5.3L V-8.
The GT was a 16 second car. Typically a mid 16 second car. So his at best was a low 16 second car. He really stood no chance.
Oh and his might not have been a 2007 but one of that body style.

2006-2007 Grand Prix GT's were supercharged. Grand Prix GTP's don't exist past '05.
How do I know? There is a 2007 Grand Prix GT parked in my driveway.... and it has an L32 Supercharged 3800 under the hood. It's a low to mid 15 second car.
.... plus I was a 3800 enthusiast back in the day.

Only paritally off... that should have said "until 2005".
