I wish I didn't waste money on the 350Z since 2.2 automatic Cobalts can keep within a car length of it. Should have kept my SS/SC I guess it would put buses on the Z.

please ask your friend about the install padlock. I was at a mod meet with several guys that know what they are doing and we had a tough time, i didnt want to remove the fuse box and get down way in the back to find the wires, i didnt have the time that day.

 

OR he was a really bad driver... I never said that's how fast they are, I simply stated it happened one time.

I never said I beat him.. and no he wasn't ******* with me... I know the guy.

It was about a car length, not even, in between us once I hit 100.

And I'm stock, except for a filter and silencer delete +.05 hp.

I'm also slower than a stock 2.2 because of my 32 lb 18" wheels, probably a half a second at most.

 

The only way you kept pace I'd he wasn't messing with you was he just completely forgot to shift completely lolololol.you don't have to tell me what they run. I own one. I run 13.4's what does your car do? You sound like the kidaround here with a Saturn sc2 claiming to run with 350z's . I did more than put buses on him. That was when he realized they were messing with him

 

i had a 350z before my lsj. my stepdad has a base cobalt. if we would have raced i would have pulled not bus lengths, but probably football field lengths on him easily. my lsj could probably beat a DE, but not an HR.

 

My LSJ was close to my 350 from a roll. It could go either way I think. But the 350 is definitely faster from a dig. Best track times for my SC was 13.81@104 so the 350 has it by about .35 seconds

I'm not saying 350Z's are slow, I absolutely love them, I'm just saying from around 20 mph, it wasn't that far off.

 

and were saying that he was in the wrong gear, not WOT, sleeping at the wheel.

its a roll race not a whole lot of skill involved... as long as he can get into gears with out missing every single one you still wouldn't be close to him lol. Hell if he just put the car in 3rd and floored it until 100mph he would still beat you by more than that. So I stand by the thought that he was screwing with you or not trying.

 

i need to get a go-pro vid and do a 0-60 test when i get a chance. i ran a buddy last year, my mods are in my sig and he's a '06 LS, 5 speed, with intake and exhaust and i pulled on him a good fender from a 40 roll to about 80. driver mod can make ya or break ya
