cobalt ss/sc vs Honda Del Sol

Cliff notes at the bottom
so im driving to work and I see a VTEC Honda Del Sol with motors8 on the license plate dont think much about it so i get in the right lane and go foward. Well at the next light the lane goes from 2 to 1 so i am in the right lane as always and he is in the left lane. So here we are 2 lanes are going into one and i know he doesnt want to get behind a cobalt because he didnt want to get behind it before. light turns green he gets me off the line a bit because i wheel hop. I throw it into 2nd gear a little to fast hes with me get into my powerband and im gone. When im far enough ahead i merge into the left lane and i was a bunch of cars infront of him i dont think i saw him until i got to the next light and he saw the SS/SC. we toyed around for a while on the single lane road and then i decided i had enough and left him in the dust. Turns out he works here at cisco with me because we hit the next major intersction and he turns left with me after i waited there for 4 mins and turned into the same group of buildings. after i parked and he parked he just walked away with his tail between his legs

Cliff notes: Honda del sol with vtec doesnt stand a chance against an ss/sc unless maybe they have alot of mods. Dont these things have rwd? that may be why off the line we were a bit even.

Ya, a stock Del Sol is a mid 15 second car. He would need a good deal of mods to keep up with you. They do okay for a 1.6 litre four banger though and with a turbo/tune they can be fast! **** an N/A Del Sol can be fast if it's done right! Can't those things be stripped to weigh less then 2000 pounds?
