Wow, I have only had my SC for a few weeks and everyone wants a shot at the title. I am a relatively low key driver so for the most part I keep my nose clean. I am breaking the car in nice, and so far so good. I feel nothing but strength from this engine. I have suffered some agonizing ricer fly bys....

I have a stress ball in the car

So tonight the air was crisp, but the traffic was thick as hell. Then I hear the fart can..
I look in the mirror for the Honda lights with the fogs and bingo. Acura Integra. Which really isnt a bad car. Anyhow, it was lowered, I/H/E , Turbo and riced up. He's weaving in and out and just being a moron. He passes me, looks over, and does the double take. I smile and give him the thumbs up as his car is soundig LOUD, and I just want him to go away.. He gives me the "whatever" and farts away... Then it happens. I finally give in to the almighty supercharger god...

This is when it gets sick...we get on the highway here where it opens up. We joust a bit, slow right down to about 30, and just gun it. I really didnt know what to expect being so new behind the wheel of this car, and having yet to push the car a wee bit. Two words can pretty much sum up my first though. HOLY and ****.

I pulled him a few car lengths by 1/8 mile and it never was a race. One time I even let him get the jump by 2 cars and by the time I hit midway through 3rd I was getting ready do to the Superfly by....

So I shut it down early, no sense wasting time here. Buddy gives me hi beams... then farts by. Nice BOV though. No thumbs up or nothing. He must have been pissed.

i wont call bull But i lost to a turbo integra the other day he beat me by 15 car he said he was laying down 480+ hp

yea, turbo teg's are fast. Unless it was a turbo LS..Then I can see you maybe winning. Then again, I think half the owners of SS' underestimate their own cars..sad.

 

This was an older Modded LS I do believe. It was hard to tell in the dark. No bull here. Seriously.

 

Probably a junk yard turbo w/ a hack job install. There's a few of those around here that think they're quick. Running a whole 4psi, afraid to run anymore for fear that they'll trash their otherwise stock engine. Seems like for every car done right there's a dozen or two that are crap.

 

Yes, thats the feel I got from this car. Hack up. I dont think it was well tuned at all. It was the cockyness of the driver though that got to me .... whoa...

Just took a co worker to Tim Hortons for a break. He was very very impressed with the handling of the car. His exact words "This is a CHEVY ?"

turbo tegs are fast ,i had one blew the engine on 15lbs boost,but i also own a cobalt ss, i would pull on it in my teg until 3rd then my girlfriend would fly by i could keep up til 90, then there was no race cobalt is the winner by alot, on the track teg managed to run 890 in the 1/8 but our cobalt was pulling a 910,920 at hoilday raceway in tuscaloosa, alabama

 

nice kills, but use a little common sense here, if you were going from a 30 roll you probably covered that 1/8 mile in just a few seconds especially if you gunned it. just trying to point out the obvious nice kill though

 

Ahh I didnt get out and measure, but your right, it was longer than 1/8th. However, I did get out front right away. Sorry for the slight discrepancy. Just trying to share an experience thats all. Anyone that calls BS has a right to do so. Doesnt bother me one bit. Thats how you feel when you tell the truth.
