I don't know what it is about this car but everyone wants a piece it seems.

Well had about 4 good runs on the HWY with a Saab 9-2X Aero(stock specs:227hp/217tq turbo 2.0L). I believe he might have had and intake, but he for sure had an after market BOV, couldn't tell if he had anything else.

All runs began around 50 mph, and every single run was the same story. From 50mph-90mph he was only able to put me back to his rear tires, but was SLOWY pulling away the whole time.

Needless to say he had the faster car but not by much

i think you drove it wrong man. With all due respect. I smoked a wrx with actual mods. And he took you by a car. I dont think thats possible or u didnt downshit to the right gear or soething.

 

Did the guy in the WRX know how to drive?

i beat atleast 5 WRX's around my way just watch out for the high modded ones they can beat STI's with 4 parts (only 3000 dollars ) I think i raced one he beat me by 12 car lengths then pulled up next to me me and said damn your car is kinda quick (i was at this point j/k)
he was pushing 22 psi and bigger turbo or soemthing ECU etc needless to say one bad ass car

Well I down shifted into 2nd a couple times but then realized that extra shift was really getting me no where, so I stayed in 3rd for two of the runs. I just don't think this car has the top end like a turbo does up here at 5000ft. It's not like I got wasted. Just posting my results and thought I would share.

The Saab 9-2X is basically a WRX w/ different body panels.

Lol. Well in the beginning i didnt think he knew how to drive. ( The guy in the wrx) But then when i saw a couple of other stories and the video they are of the ss for wrx i was like yeah he did know how to drive they jsut cant keep up.

 

my thougfhts exactly I raced a friend of mine 03 WRX with Intake/exhaust and he put 2 cars on me.
