Cobalt SS vs Minivan
the 8 valve/sohc makes them crazy for tq, but top end hp, expecially with the 2.5 is not there
the 2.2 was a bit better in top end
also the are not cross flow heads either, IE, the intake and exhaust/turbo are both to the back of the head.
my old 87 charger glhs went 12.61 at 112 with a super 40 trim t3/t4, stock IC, header, and a stock size valve mild ported head with a slightly bigger cam. Had JE alum piston with a stock crank and rods out of an 89 daytona.
crank and rods are pretty stoudt stock in them when you get a common block cars.
the turbo dodges can be made to fly cheap

everything about them is cheap. id love to get another one and make a racer out of it. actually i might do that, just find one that runs for like 500 bucks and put about 500 into it and have a 12 sec car
