You are most certainly a self-centered person. I now know why you chose the military, you wouldn't have made it in college. And no, I know many intelligent people in the military. And trust me, people like you are not the reason we don't speak Chinese.

Both of my cousins serve and my best friend I have a lot of appreciation for them but you know what, they don't go around saying they are better then everyone else you know why

I'm going to keep this tasteful next time you try to pull the "military card," you might want to know for sure if your the only one on this site that has ever been in the military. Do you not think there's not a chance of veterans using this site? Do you think there are not other "military" members on this site that are still serving? How many times have you personally been shot at? Have you tried going to sleep in a third world country with bomb explosions off in the distance? Maybe you have been in these conditions once or twice and that's why your so mad. Can you come close to the experience that other veterans have had in the past? I don't think so. Wait a minute, how long have you been a military member? If your going to pull that card thinking you have single-handedly kept "all of us" safe at night and protected our freedoms that we currently enjoy, next time think before posting. It's actually thanks to a joint team effort of all the combined military forces including those way above your pay grade. Not only have you disgraced everyone who has ever been a part of the military but you had to be immature about it with your loose (curse) word choices and improper grammar.

I'm not saying that I never had the same thoughts that you (quikdcride) have displayed in your previous post when I seen other Americans saying or doing things I didn't agree with at the time. Of course I was like 18 or 19 when these thoughts crossed my mind. I didn't express them. Exactly what would that have changed? But as a respectable military member should, I kept my head held high and went about my business. This is certainly not the kind of attitude that they teach you to convey towards others when you enter the military. Hopefully one day you will grow up and see the errors in judgement you have made. Come back to reality and realize that you are not the first to serve and will not be the last to serve in the military. I would like to thank all the veterans who have previously served and other active military members currently serving (especially those of you deployed overseas). You however, (quikdcride) have lost my respect and do not deserve thanks for your service until you adjust your attitude and act respectable. Oh, and if you have the nerve to respond to my post or take out your current angers on me, how about letting your immediate supervisor read what you have posted and see what he says about your opinions. I've said my peace and to me this thread is done and should be forgotten or deleted.

OK now let's get back to enjoying our freedoms as Americans, Canadians or anyone else that regularly frequents CobaltSS.net in a respectable manner.

I could just see my grandfather getting into an argument and pulling i was a marine that landed on Guadalcanal in 1942 so there....card......lol. Hell.... half of our family didn't know he was on the canal until his latter years when i began to ask . He had a bunch of medal's ......and they were in the bottom of a foot locker in the attic never to see the light of day until 60 years later. I guess they were a different generation .

 

True fact, military personel from WWI-Korean war were tough ass war hardened *************, in every branch of service.
Hell my grandfather when he was in his 60's would yank a knot in your ass, tough and strong as hell even at that age in life.
He wouldn't take no **** off anyone, let alone some young punk running his mouth.

first off why would we be speaking chinese. China isn't invading our country HAHA. Were most likely going to speak spanish.

secondly I don't like how the military invades all these country's. I respect National Gaurd way more than any other military

I personally don't like that we invade countries, blow them up and then use our funds to rebuild them as well. You can't honestly be mad at our military though. It's the President and members of his cabinet that help make the decisions such as those that involve invasions. The average military member is just suppose to carry out orders handed down to them. They are more like messengers without a voice. Whether they like it or not, they have to follow orders.

Hahha .... your grand dad sounds just like mine..... hell i was 20 and he was in his 60's and i still wouldn't have questioned him. He could have said the sun was shinning when it was midnight and i would have said yes sir lol. I'm sure he could have put a hurt on me even thou he was 40 years my senior .
