cobalt vs spirit??
Probably had a 4G63T conversion and some owners do an awd swap on those cars. We got a local Colt gear head that does all kinds of builds on those things.
guy at work comes up to me and says i got something for your cobalt.
i said ya, what? he says a 91 dodge spirit r/t turbo. i laughed and said dude
with gas at $3.50 a gal. it is too expensive for me too waste on that POS. he left mad.
came back later and said it ain't stock, it's got stuff done to it. i laughed harder, he left
even more mad. sorry guys, false alarm no war story here. lol.

him a hard time. if he does ACTUALLY buy it (which i doubt) i will run him.
its not even his? its just one he said he may buy? wtf..alright...I'll give you some credit back...but haha just for ***** run anything he has...
does own a dodge truck and a mustang. they run 15's.
some of my son's friends talk smack, but in the end they don't do it. lol. i go to the
track alot so most of my buddy's (and my son tells his friends) know my car runs
12's and traps 110-112 mph. once they see the videos of it and see the time slips
i ran they just won't race. not trying to brag my car up, because i know there is alot
faster cars out there then me. i get NO random street races because i am a de-badged
4 door. if i rev a little bit at them they just laugh and slowly drive away. trust me i feel your pain.
well my friend with a 2007 ss debaged and low spoiler gets raced ALL the time. I have all my badges on and low pro spoiler and drive like a dumb ass.. Ive been raced like 2 maybe 3 times. ugh...idk I dont like street racing but I like making subie and honda owners cry hahah
Besides a few of the Mexican market and export cars, there were only 1399 of them made over two years. A couple years ago someone was able to check a national registration database for me and there were around something like 600 of them still registered across the US.
Wrong cars, as the K-car based Chryslers shared nothing with the DSM cars. Besides a few people talking about AWD conversion using minivan parts, the Mitsubishi driveling wouldn't work. There would also be no need to any type of engine conversion as the 2.2L Turbo III engine in the Spirit R/T and Daytona IROC R/T (as well as Mexican market Phantom R/T, basically a LeBaron hardtop coupe) with it's Lotus designed and cast cylinder head can be built up lust as easily as the 4G63 and already has stock forged crank, rods, and pistons, and can support well over 400 whp without upgrades.

You do realize I was referring to the Dodge Colt that beat Northvibe possibly having a
4G63T swap and maybe AWD?
and if you look back further to my previous post before that, I said the Spirit R/T and Daytona Iroc shared the same engine.
I do know a thing or two about cars.
Hell I own a Eagle Summit Van awd 5 speed, using the factory Mitsubishi 4G64 engine, compeletely rebuilt/forged engine, 8.5:1 CR, TDO6H-20G and getting ready to slap on a 2.0T DOHC this spring. All work and tuning done by me.
Thing runs great, Van was faster with 15 psi of boost, then my HHR SS was at 24 psi on a Trifecta tune.
Wait till I crank her up to 20-22 psi after the head swap. Van weighs in at 2750 fully loaded

I lost all of my build photos when my hard drive died, but I have most of the build up documented on cardomain (hasn't been updated in a while)

I also have a build up on Mitsu-Media (not sure if you have to join to see photos)

I'm at almost $4.00 a gallon on the west coast here. Hell my diesel truck takes over $160 to fill up with the diesel now approaching $4.20 ******* politicians not opening up oil drilling... we should be drilling Alaska like Tommy Lee drilled Pamela Anderson
* UPDATE * - well my co-worker claims that he bought the car. he said he has to pick it up and get it cleaned up and such. he said that he will drive it to work next tues. (03-22-11).
he said that it has the following mods done to it : a computer chip to boost to 15 PSI, a cold air intake, bigger injectors (didn't say what size), and a 3" exhaust. with his mod list, i think i am gonna win. anybody else?
