My stepdad has a spirit R/T car's are pretty fast, specially if they have been built.

 

i used to own a 91 dodge shadow with the 2.5L tried forever to find a turbo for it but ended up trading it in for the cobalt. when done right the spirit/shadow can be a very nice sleeper

That car is in an old mopar mag I got

 

he just showed me pics of the car. not much rust at all. needs a paint job
badly. paint is peeling everywhere. interior is pretty clean. engine compartment is dirty.
he claims he is getting the car saturday. we will see.......he has claimed to have bought
cars before and the deals "fell thru". lol.

 

i doubt he would race for pinks. lol. i don't have a camcorder, but he does!
i told him that i would even take on a passenger in my car to video. he didn't say much.

Glad someone posted that video. I was gonna tell you to be careful. I am a cobalt guy to the core BUT people have done some pretty nasty things to those turbo spirits.

well he did actually buy the car. he got it back to his house. he took it for a drive and the timing belt broke and left him stranded.

 

Dont race him. His wheel may fall off and he may swurve into you and wreck your rare cobalt SS sedan.

You should race him a a drag strip. lol.

Seems you already have a sleeper ride - a debadged 09 Sedan. So much so you're not getting any challenges up 'cause people feel sorry for you. Seems like the last thing you would want is to get two sleepers (especially a "classic" Ma Mopar turbo)....
