shitty title but i did beat an 80s vette by a couple lengths probally over 6 months ago, some of them werent that fast, but lots of them are pretty fast, actually, last friday, I got destroyed by a modded 05 or 06 vette, sounded mean, it had exhaust and by the sound of it maybe more.... i was just crusing home on the highway and came up to this vette, passed him and then he caught up to me and was kinda reving it up like he wanted to race, so i am like sure why not, he points at me to go first, so i droped down to 3rd and punched it, then he was gone, i let of at the end of 3rd(110-160km/h) and he had probally 20+ cars maybe more....

 

Being bias toward the cobalt, he destroyed your car like a little 9 year old girl who got kicked in the shin. He might of been pointing and laughing too, you never know.

we got a 94 vette with the lt1, dynoed at 358 hp, forgot torque but it was pretty even. that thing is nice tho, prolly will be even with the balts

 

So, I came on to give some information on the ZR-1 RPO and the LT5 that were being mis-represented in this thread. Plus, I thought it was a good kill so I resurrected it. Didn't see a forum rule about thread age. Sorry if I missed it.

I think a 90 vette had 240hp and 340lbs of torque.

I think the SS/IRL would destroy a lot of the 90's muscle cars. **** my 96 SS only ran a 13.9@102 back in 99.
