I ran one when the car was stock. From 40mph to 130mph I won by a car length with the csrt4 pulling hard up top of every gear. The only reason I won was because he shifted into 5th while I was moving pretty good in 4th. I think the csrt was stock besides having the catback cut off.

I ran one, stock. Me on just a tune (17 lbs) and intake. Pulled him to 120 by about 2 cars. Now hes on Stage 1 with exhaust and intake. I think even with my new tune (21 lbs) Charge pipes, intake and downpipe he will beat me. Minivan is fast as ****!!

just find a road with a corner ahah yeah they are fast when in a straight line if modded. Not sure how tall their gears are, thats one advantage the SS has. Gears are tall as hell.

I will probly have a video of my modded CSRT racing a tuned and bolted SS/TC on Thurs. I guess we will see first hand how the CSRT does.

I will say though, a stage 1 bolted CSRT is very fast. I can attest to this.

QFT lol

Yea the CSRT stock is a tad sluggish due to the PCM limitations, a simple swap of the stage 1 comp makes a world of diff tho.

Stock for stock i'd say a TC would have him by about a car from a dig.

if you race past 120 they start falling back cuz they are a brick on wheels but up to that point those things can move out. haha.

i dunno about most of the ss/tc owners here but if i could do it all over again i would buy a csrt-4 hands down. this kid ^ has one of the fastest minivan/crossover/bangbus' ive been in. I really think it would be a close ass race with a GM stage kit and my mods. I did beat his ass at the track however but that happens when u rock a .001 Reaction time and a 2.18 60ft on street tires

for what?!?! i have the same identical car as you and ive been waiting forever for GM. Im about to bang someone a new ******* if this kit doesnt come out by end of august. wtf is the point of having it in the middle of ****** winter. end rant.

Anyway Csrt-4, Mazdaspeed3, Impreza WRX (not sti model) and probably some others are some serious roll race contenders out of the box with us.

lol i'll be waitng.

OP it'd be Cobalt by a car stock for stock. Fully bolted vs fully bolted it'd we the Csrt by a car. its a close race either way.

And Frank, that .001 was some lucky ****! hahaha I could have had a that 13.8 had i not gotten messed up watching you cross the 60ft mark as I left the line lol!

Ive only raced 2 that were stock ( I was too at the time) from a dig to 110 mph and one em both by 1.5 / 2 cars . But they get fast as hell in a straight line when tuned up etc.

Raced a bolted stage 1 at calabogie when I was stock, he pee pee slapped me on the backstretch, I passed him once we hit the turns, he couldnt make it back.

Raced the same dude with my tune, rear sway bar, hoosiers (+ other goodies now :P) and it was silly...

Actually the new WRX's and STI's are about even when it comes to 1/4 mile times. I believe the STi ran 13.5, and the same Mag got a 13.6 out of the WRX. I ran an intake, exhaust, tune new STi from a roll and pulled about 2 cars on him from 40 to 100mph.

And I also believe stock for stock and mod for mod the SS/TC > CSRT-4.

You are refering to stock times for the STI and WRX and that is the new ones. Older GD models were putting down faster stock times than the new ones. A simple stage 1 tune and we have guys putting 12.9 to 13 flat and stage 2 is getting down to 12.5 and thats just with a downpipe and tune. Heck we have a guy with a full weight car, VF39 stock turbo, with E85 tune that is running 12.1 at 116<---------that is impressive!!

When a TC break 500whp on the stock block maybe.
There is a CSRT-4 with 600whp stock block up here that is faster than ****.

I haven't seen any cobalt LSJ or LNF that would stay within 10 cars of it.

I bet his "stock block" doesn't last long!! That is still impressive!

I'm sorry but I don't care if the CSRT-4 could beat the SS by 10 bus lengths I would never own one due to the fact that I think they are the most hideous cars on the street. But hey that's just my opinion.
