A former roomate of mine's friend has a Del Sol and is pushing 230 hp prob at the crank ....... r these legit cars??? he wants a race..

well how wud my stock ss/sc balt hold up .....

if its turbo'd then you have problems. what mods do you have? a guy by me has one that is all motor and has just 200hp. and when i was stock we were close i beat him but not by much. they don't weigh ****.

 

I wanted a del sol when i was younger but settled for a crx si. They are true sleepers.

 

I'm stock and from what mine friend has told me is sounds like bolt on's..............he also said it hs tv.s and dvd and that ****...............its got a body kit................maybe a tune? .but im thinkin if he really wanted a sleeper he wudnt of riced out his car....so im thinkin no turbo what do u guys think

if its all bolt ons there's no way to have 230 unless he has a major engine rebuild..... you should be able to take him before you even leave second gear....

 

my roomate said he did throw a completely rebuilt engine in there

 

Maybe a b20 vtec swap

 

rebuilt and built or just a rebuilt motor? if its just a stocker even if your stock you'll pow'n

 

its a completely new different engine...

 

if he did work in the right places on the del sol i got a feeling hes gonna dust you. those cars weigh nothing so you better launch good and never look back.

 

my del sol......bolt on k20a2 w/ a set of cams and k-pro.......would of given alot of cars on here some trouble

 

i almost bought one a few years ago but they are so tight inside to really get comfy.

 

how much hp does ur car put down

 

never got it dyno's......ran consistent low 13's trapped 108ish

 

damn nice ...i'm hoping with just a new enigne and some bolt ons I can take him .....

 

how do you think my 2.2 would do against a stock del sol, cause some chick at my gf's high school wants to race me and i really don't feel like losing against a girl?

 

if its a single cam stock del sol, you would have a good chance of beatin it.
