You do realize I was referring to a 16 year old Civic, right??

Obviously a 2008 Cobalt and a 2008 Civic are both economy cars, but neither looks like "a piece of ****" unless you get the base model with hub caps.

i love how jaded the SS owners opinions are when it comes to the cobalt. basically you're saying if you weren't elite enough to by the SS then you brought a piece of ****. i love how your elite SS was based of a piece of **** to begin with. so what does that make the SS???? a faster, cutier piece of ****? i guess so.

 

Show me someone who is like "wow awesome car!!" when you roll up in a base model Cobalt, Civic, Corolla, Kia, or Hyundai with hubcaps and crank windows and I'll show you someone who doesn't get out of the house much.

I don't mean the base Cobalts are bad cars, they are just not desireable in terms of looks, performance, ect.

 

i understand your point but i've yet to hear anyone call the cobalt ss an ''awesome" car. i've heard some very nice compliments but "awesome" was certainly not one. the only cars i've heard getting compliments anywhere near "awesome" come with price tags and/or builds that demand such respect. if you met a kid that thought the SS was awesome, then that kid doesn't get out much either.

 

Someone said my car was pure sex, I think thats better than awesome

I can't drive to the gas station a few miles from my house without seeing at least 3 civics with rattle can sprayed hoods black, garbage muffler and a thousand stickers on them

 

i've had evo viii and ix owners call my car badass after we went on some intense highspeed cruises and that was pre-turbo on the bottle. i didn't count that as my car being awesome plus change.

i doubt i inspired awe in the guys i drove with.

lol when I posted a vid of the cobalt im going to buy I had several people say it was sweet.
somebody commented saying "thats so badassssss"
and somebody else commented "if you get this car we will be getting married"

The cobalt ss is a sweet car.

 

i agree.

i just don't believe any cobalt is GODs gift to the automotive world.
