I went out this weekend expecting the same-old plain jane boringness. Not so much.

End of the first night I lucked out and landed next to a GTO at the lights. I lit his a$$ up like a chrismas tree, but I suspect he underestimated me. met at another and he took me seriously. He launched out from me by half a car and stayed there through second gear. We lined up with a flagger for the same results. I was mad that I couldn't get traction. A better launch (driver mod) would have bagged me a 345bhp car. I was still happy I could hang with him with my piddling 213whp.

anyway, so the next day in mexico I run across a GTP grand ****** and he's driving like an a--hole and gunning it from every light. I meet up with him and at green I go for it. He was 2 cars back at the end of first gear, so I let off. At the next few lights he took off like a normal person and stopped swerving through traffic. Hehe.

Same day..on the highway a WRX pulls up next to me and a little asian guy is all leaned back looking at me like he's too good for me. I hit it a little and let him hear the SC. All of a sudden he's interested. We leave from about 50 (perfect for me) and I jump out half a car immediately. The gap opens wider and wider up until about 130 when he starts to reel me in a little. not enough time though and we had to stop. He got in behind me and stayed there til I exited.

Last run. Met a very clean A4 2.0T a giant intercooler and heard him blowing off (lol) as he pulled in. A asked what he had done, bigger turbo, front mount, tune, ok. We meet at a light and he doesn't even launch. I wait for him and hear him coming up, I go...is he even trying....ok. Another light, I hear him take off, but there's no real speed to it. I hit it a little and pass him.

Either he doesn't know how to drive, his car is not tuned well at all, or he was sandbagging. I don't think I'm that much faster.

You guys should hit up Mexico. Lot of nice cars. Warm this time of year tho..
