K so im going to work today right?
Take in mind im drivin my lil aveo.
And while im driving....goin about 60 down the highway 10 over the speed limit but nothing exsessive. And all of a suddent i look in my rear view mirror and theres a raised chevy silvarado....
in my head im goin good lord hes gonna run me over.
so i get into the other lane and he flys by me.
I come to the stop light and i pull up next to him.
I look over and its a cocky kid...he looks at me...
so i was like what the hell...i rev my engine.
he revs his.
Now im thinking im gonna get killed by this truck.
The light turns green and he floors it out.
He gets probably a 2 car length lead. and then i shift into 3rd
and low and behold i pass him fairly quickly.
i through a couple lights till we hit a red light and i got stuck behind a couple cars.
lol not exactly a kill against a nice car...but hey its a kill right? hahaha

I wonder what an aveo runs in the 1/4 stock

 

you can also be glad you didn't lose as much gas as he did

 

i just looked it up the aveo runs 11.8 0-60 and 18.6 1/4 mile at 75mph

i believe it is....the numbers ive got are 1/4 mile 17.45 and 0-60 in 10.26.

And ive know some ppl have run a lil faster.

 

Damn cant wait to see one of those turboed,cause they have a couple great bodykits out for them

 

one of those turbo'd would make about as much power as an ss s/c or less

if ur lookin to mod a car, dont buy an aveo, they only have 103hp or something like that stock...

needless to say their slow as **** and i wouldnt buy one however the 07 models do like nice but their just to slow for me

 

lol, dude don't hate on the aveos! You know there is a 9-10 second Geo Metro and the Aveo is kind of like those cars, just the newer version. I'm sure with a turbo and some upgrades you could get like 220 horses in that little light thing. Run like high 13s, That would be awesome!

 

Turboing with other mods could make it run 13s.,....however im not gonna turbo mine....im gonna put a ss/sc motor in mine when i find the time and money to do so....and then well see about it being "slow as ****."

 

I personally saw an Aveo destroy my friends truck. (Lowered S10 I/E)

Hahaha that reminds me of my buddies old Geo Metro. I remember going on a road trip with him and yelling "Daddy! Daddy! Go faster!" and he said "I can't! Its a GEO!" hahahah Oh man good times. That Aveo looks pretty good tho!

 

Good thing he didn't decide to go monster truck on you when he lost. Lemme know when you beat your first civic Si, I hear those do the quarter in the low 26's.
