G35 sedan stock VS Camaro SS L99 Auto on the track rnd 2
Has he even identified what car it is? I just see talk of an ls1. Also if it truly has an iron block you are probably looking at an lq9 or other truck motor.
I'm really starting to wonder about their intelligence if they can't determine for themselves if it's iron or aluminum block lol
What part of PA are you from wert? I'll be in Carlisle June 22 to July 6

Obviously some people like to selectively read and learn(if you had read the second sentence of post 273). I also never said it's not an LS1. *******
It's not iron, never said it was. It's an LS1
His charger trapped 111, not my heads/cam f body. Also try reading the last sentence of post 273.

Car is diffently his me and him have already ran motor to motor. We are a very close run. Not sure if its a 5.3 or 6.0. He was told it was a 5.7 which it is not. its iron block not alumiium. It does for sure have 243 LS6 heads which he was told were ported. a cam, LS6 intake manifold , varaaram intake, exhaust. I daily drive my charger.
LOL sorry that was a reply to the 350Z owner saying his car is slow because its a daily. Not saying my car is fast cuz its not but its decent for what it is. with the damn LS motors they look so much alike when in the car its hard to tell. Thats the problem with buying a car already modded u gotta trust the other guy. Apprently it had nitrous on it too. Upon further inspection found a swich panel in the center consol for im sure a bottle heater and acitvation switch. Car runs good though doesnt make any noises so we shall see. He told me today he had a shop check the VIN and its still a 5.7L but had too very trusted LS chevy guys say last night it was iron block so IDK. I am pretty curious. Previous owner told Miller it put down 425 WHP i think it was on a dyno which is healthy for a H/C/bolt-ons LS1 car using GM OEM parts.

So what is it Miller? Your buddy is claiming all the F-body guys are saying its an iron block yet here you are saying its an LS1 which is aluminum.
How about you start putting up some pictures, starting with the engine. I mean come on now your own friend is saying its iron and you are saying its aluminum. The trusted F-body guys are saying its iron. Really I don't believe a thing you say after the whole "tune would be gone because I disconnected the battery" statement you made.
You bought somebody else's project and have no ******* clue as to what it is!
Come on man! I'm a nice guy!

didnt have a magnet in the mcdonalds parking lot LOL He said someone looked up the VIN and its a LS1 5.7 so its a LS1 end of story. Miller just dynoed his car Ill let him post up the dyno graph but made really good power.
It is an aluminum ls1, never said otherwise. There are various ways to find this out, use your imagination.
Had it dyno'd today too. 419 whp/ 472 lb-ft running super rich

That dyno was complete butt. There is absolutely no way in hell it made the said power.
I'd love to see more pics of this car though, possibly engine bay, dyno sheet, and other stuff

wait... what year is it? 1998+ ? or is it older? because if it is 1998 or newer that car came with an LS1. wouldn't it make sense that it still has one?

I started worrying about their intelligence when I saw their location.
So the cars vin said it was an ls1 car so then the modded engine in the camaro must be an ls1? Omfg genius! More proof you dont know **** about cars. Do you not know how many 5.3 and 6.0 swap camaros there are? If your ls1 blows its like $400 to drop in a junkyard motor from a truck vs the cost of an ls1.

Yes ******* I did. However your buddy said it's iron. He claims other f body guys say it's iron. Again you tried saying a tune would be erased from pulling the battery so anything you say is null and void. Post up some pics of the engine then we may believe you. That would only take you a few minutes to do. You *******.
Why the smack talk at "truck engine swaps"? The LQ4/LQ9 engines start at 340-360 stock, right (okay the first gen LQ4's are rated 300hp, but most are higher hp). Swap a 6.0 in place of an LS1 and you're already ahead of the game, whether its iron or aluminum. 5.3's aren't any great shakes, but the iron 6.0 stuff is absolutely nothing to sneeze at. I wouldn't be surprised at 400whp from any truck swap other than the 5.3. The torque across the rpm is hellishly flat, too. This is the upgrade/transplant I'm looking at doing on my second-gen f-body in the near future - just because its stupid-cheap horsepower.
