How did this happen????

so friday night while coming home i across a all blAck camaro ss...... I told my buddy in his car not to Challenge him cause he would get raped ( he drives a stock eclipse 2gen). So anyWAY i pull up next to him for the hell of it and he revs up his engine. By that time i knew we was running. So the light turn green we all punch it.... And shockingly i beat the ss camaro 4 times!!!!!!

How did this happen???? I thought they were faster then the sstc???
We did two runs from 0 to 120ish and two run from 60 to 130.
I know for sure he had a exhaust done...... Either way i was thrilled by the results!!!! And yes he was really racing!!!!

Wish i had someone riding shotgun so they could record it.

it was 2 ppl in his car ( a passenger and the driver)
i was solo

A tune only LNF runs about even with a new Camaro SS. Add the bolt-ons (mainly dp) and the LNF is edging away.

Don't be fooled into thinking they have an exhaust just because they get loud when WOT, the LS3 makes some good noise even on the stock exhaust.

Good kill

Thanks lol. I could be wrong but it looked like a aftermarket exhaust tho. But anyway i enjoyed that kill.

I thought a stock ss was rated at 426. Theres no way i have 400 hp. Hell i wish i did.

those camaros are also tanks, so you have a weight advantage over it. they weigh about 3860lbs...i believe the ss/tcs are about 2800. you got a half ton advantage over the camaro's...thats alot of weight lol

426 to the crank. They down 370 to the wheels and weigh 3750 lbs. Your cobalt puts over 300 to the wheels and weighs 3000 lbs. Power to weight

On paper, the TC actually beats the Camaro in the 1/4 mile. Well, depends on the source. They're not impressive at all.

Nice kills, man. And don't forget the biggest factor, as well...driver mod! You didn't mention if it was an auto or manual.
