Hung with a "jackass" in a 2010 camaro
So was coming home from a night of cruising and i see a car weaving in an out of traffic to catch up to me and i knew it was someone wanting to play and what comes by me doing a little ricer flyby... you guessed it, a 2010 camaro SS. I hooked it into 3rd gear and caught up to him and look to my right to give him the signal to go (the first car i wanted was a 2010 camaro but couldn't afford it at the time so i wanted to see what my "settle" car could do) and he would ever look at me.. i even gave him a few honks to catch his attention he just kept on looking straight and then nailed it and so did i but i was caught off guard in 4th gear at 70mph and didnt downshift but as we hit around 120mph he was about 3-4 lengths ahead of me which in my opinion isn't that impressive because i thought i would get RAPED by bus lengths and didn't.
Granted, it wasnt a lagit race... im not 100% sure he was WOT but he was punching it hard from what i heard out of the exhaust.
What do you guys think, anyone got a chance to run a 2010 camaro (v6 or v8)?

Never ran one but a v6 camaro and stock ss/tc should be a close race from a roll or a dig. They run just a few tenths faster on average in the 1/4 but it would be a drivers race. The V8 is a different story.
And what makes this guy a "jackass" lol.

A tuned SS/TC should hang with a stock SS and depending on how aggressive the tune is...a tuned SS/TC could walk away from a stock Camaro SS.
Edit: Looked up some times for the v6 they are low 14's average from what I've seen so far.
The fact that he wouldn't look over at me (was going to give him the thumbs up), he didnt want a real race but wanted to randomly take off as fast as he could (was some teenager prob in his dads car), and did a previous ricer flybye.
Me and my boss took out the manual 6 SS a week ago since he has been driving it and got some miles on it. We did a 40 roll and it wasnt even a race, I walked away from him pretty bad. Then we did a dig race. He got a good jump out, about a car or two, then by time I hit third I had him reeled in and was next to him. When I had hit fourth had over a car on him and at 125 had two or three cars on him. Since I want to keep my warranty, he doesnt know about the tune, but you should of heard him talking about it latter. Words from his mouth. "That mother ****** was pulling" No lie

One thing, It wasnt even a race, that is right. Oh and my owns the dealership and his ever day car is a 08 c6 vette with a six speed. Whether he can drive or not, I wooped it. I also trapped over 115 on the street tires
Check the Camaro forums for the outcome most V6 owners are seeing vs the stock TC all the while remaining respectful to the vehicle
. The outcome vs a V8 is a completely different story unless the Camaro driver is absolutely horrendous.

And it was more around 2 cars
