So I really really upset a stanced Audi a4 driver today lol.

I was coming up the i81 on ramp on the bridge in Harrisburg PA doing about 50mph or so. As I was coming up to merge this a4 is in the right lane so I give the 300 a little gas to get going as to not be in his way.

He was apparently having no part of that and came down a couple gears and matted it. At that point we are side by side. I came out of 5th and went into 3rd and put it down. By this time he's pulled a car to a car and a half. I'm still on the on ramp and I can see where it ends. My turbo spools, it's very loud too lol, I made the distance he pulled up quickly and came strolling right on by with plenty of room left of the on ramp.

I looked in the mirror to make sure it was clear to merge. This poor Audi owner is pissed. I'm getting the the 1 finger salute. Like very vigorously getting the finger.

I'm not sure what mods he had. It was stanced goofy camber, exhaust and a big front mount. Had exactly nothing for the old 300. As I said he was very pissed.

 

Yeah a guy in a stang convertible got the downshift of Shame yesterday. He was with his girlfriend too lol or sister or mom idk lol. Either way his cut me off efforts went nowhere

Well funny you should ask. One was talking smack to me Saturday night. Apparently my car isn't properly built so I need to baby it so it doesn't break... Unlike their car which was built with all the best parts so they some have to worry lol. I had to kindly tell him I have no rentability issues. I just drove the car across the eastern seaboard twice...


They are obviously forgetting that the reason they couldn't race me was because they couldn't figure out what was wrong with their car properly built car lmao

They would be better off doing it now than putting it off. As soon as I get my Brembo swap done on it I'm going to go back to figuring out my Nistune issue. Once I get that solved then it's aggressive tune time and no more canned tune bs.

So these lovely things just showed up for the 300ZX. Evo 9 Brembo's, the paint is shot but I'm going to be painting them gloss black anyhow. Wonder how long it takes for ZX Auto Centers idiots to copy me lol

 

cool but just curious. how are you going to compensate for brake bias. won't the front brakes be alot stronger than the old rears and cause balance issues under hard braking?

 

If brake bias is towards the front its not as big of an issue as the rear being increased since your front brakes do most of the stopping anyways

 

Z32 master cylinder has the correct proportioning. That's on it's way as well as 02 Cobra rotors and a set of custom caliper brackets

 

Rotors are in! Well I have to send one back because in my sleep deprived state it seems I ordered 2 drivers side These things are big too. This little car should stop great now!

 

Don't worry ozzy they won't copy you. My he brakes are functional and as such of no use to zxauto center

 

that is what I figure. They will say what they have is superior and mine is no good. They have the Z32 caliper swap, which is better than stock but certainly inferior to the Brembos. I don't mind though!
