I got killed by a V6 Mustang ###FACEPALM####
Even though there is a suttle difference(v6 vs i6), there is no Mustang without the 6 cylinder that started it all. It's a pony car, not a muscle car.
The V6 comment is like " I wish the Cobalt LT and LS never existed", only the SS! haha
If it was the older body style, he was toast. If it was the 11+ it can be a drivers race mattering on mods.

From a roll an 08+ SS balt will win stock for stock, since it weighs about 400lbs less and makes similar power. The trap speeds in stock form are similar (LNF). I have 3.55s, CAI and tune for my 3.7, but on the stock 225s (sideways spinning 1st to 2nd on quick shift). I think with tires I could be solid 13's if I can drive it. RWD being the Stangs advantage.
Then you throw a $300 tune on a LNF and it's in stock base 5.0 territory from a roll (different league than the 3.7). LNF is a way better bang for your buck performance wise. Don't know about the LSJ, never owned one.
