i raped an srt last night...he just kept attackin me and wanted to race after race after race..last race i just gave him the win since i didnt feel like raping him anymore...his hks bov sounded badass,but wasnt anywhere as loud as my whine...i think the score was 5-1....dig,40roll,60roll.100roll.dig,20roll...**** load of races

 

haha yeah good kill man. from a 100 roll too. i was told that the srt4 have a great high end. wow. =D

but i gotta admit, there bov is seriously bad ass. but do you have any mods. maybe the airbox mod? that would make your s/c louder...much louder.

 

open supercharger...no filter or pipe at all...hahahahaha

and top end is good,but stock turbo is bad...spikes and looses boost...so us s2 guys are faster top end due to holding more boost top end

How much boost does a s2 hold??? I have never raced a balt before so I have no idea how fast a modded one is. I did drive a stock one to about 130mph on a test drive though. You must be talking about a stock SRT. I am not ******* on the balt but I don't think a s2 balt will pull me on top end, even though that is where I loose all my roll races. I don't know if a balt has the power to be close enough to pass me once my boost falls, unless we race to 150 plus but I don't really do that. I wish I could just find a modded balt to race around here so I would know.

those srt4's are really awesome cars. but is it true that they break down a lot. the guy i raced told me that but i want a general answer on another srt4 owner.

 

That is what I thought. I was wondering about all this murdering a modded srt4 with vid. I don't have a vid of me driving and don't think I will be making one anytime soon. Sorry. If you want to know how my car rides well......I can make it ride rough, loud, and scary, or pretty much stock. Adj wastegate, struts, and 3in downpipe w/ cutout FTMFW!!!! As far as breaking down umm.... I know people that have problems but I have 40k+ on the od and replaced the front brakes. Thats it. It depends on if you take car of your car or not. I am sure if you treat it like crap it will turn into crap. Also the motor makes alot of power that hurts the stock drivetrain. I plan to upgrade as needed. Another thing that causes a lot of SRT owners probs is slicks. They can't fig why they are only getting 10k on a clutch and keep braking axles. Ummm "Dee Dee Dee!!!!"

 

well i beat the srt4. he had some things in them but hes one of my friends and we respect each other. me and him play a lot about that race and that video...no homo.

The best sound for me is the wastegate opened at WOT and 35psi boost making a 637hp run.

to me, no 4cyl motor can even come close to maching the sound of an STi with 3+ inch Turbo-back exhaust... I miss it so much! LOL

Very true. I do think the STI is by far one of the best sounding cars IMO. I like the sound of a turbo better than a supercharger by far. Supercharged cars "whine" how manly is it to say "That car's whine is so loud!" Not cool. I am a fan of, "Did I just get passed by a jet?"

agreed, the boxer engine is so sweet sounding. It's hard to make a 4 banger sound good without turbo and even with some sound like crap.

ever driven a turbo car? just asking but to each their own but turbo owns IMO

 

X2 Turbo=best sounding 4-banger esp. ones with bigger displacement, STI, SRT-4, and yes the scion TC turbo.

the GTO gets a slight jump, then the SRT hits boost and its game over. The on e driving my GTO did get out of the throttle once the SRT hit boost. This video is simply mean't to somewhat hear the sound, however it doesn't do the red car justice, it must be heard in person..
