ss/sc's 1 get 21/31mpg u get like 17
2. i have 236whp and weigh 2900lbs u have 300hp (crank) and weigh 3600lbs

He has RWD and large displacement engine and when it comes down to making any real power...your platform is obsolete compared to his...end of story

Ever seen a 500+ whp 05+ GT??? Know what it takes?? A turbo kit...for about 2500-3k used. I want to see you go make 5 and change for that price...on your stock block...and put it down to the ground

Or hell we can be cheaper than that...Toss a 100 shot at it...make 430whp all day AND hook up

Get off your fanboy bandwagon...an 05+ GT is a WAY better platform than a Cobalt

well how many times do u see on the streets a turbo'd mustang or s/c'd almost nvr. the price to put one on is outrageous.

There is 8 SC GTs in my area not including me. I wouldn't call 3k-4k outragoues when you can make 400+rwhp easily on a 99-04 GT and 500+rwhp on a 05+ GT.

Hell my car runs 10s and I drive around town in it almost daily in the summer.

no i do know wat im talking about i weighed all the options i was gonna buy a 2007 Gt but then didnt want to spend 4k on a turbo. that would be my only car and the fact my car will out handle the hell out of that car. i wanted good handling and decent power which i got in my car. and get 21mpg.

plus it must suck to be u a total *** who doesnt even own a f-ing cobalt and no1 likes on here.

Your SS is beating pre 05 stock GT's, and that is about it. If you're beating 05+ GT's, rather they're stock or not, they cant drive for ****. They're mid 13 second cars stock, and that is stock, you have quite a few mods to be bragging about beating one.

1. I dont buy cars for gas mileage, I buy them for power and fun
2. Stock 05+ GT's put down between 260-270rwhp, and with just an intake and tune, which is only around $600-700 for both, you have a 290-300rwhp car
3. I own a Ford and Chevy, so I have best of both worlds.

To light that it is slow for what it is. LNF cobalts have aright to be cocky. They hold their own really well stock.

You know what is funny about this, I have a guy with a turbo'd 06 or 07 GT on my street, and I also have a guy with an 02 GT with a Kenne Bell S/C. So thats 2 Forced Induction Mustangs on my street, then you have my 05 GT, my 08 SS/TC and my Brothers SRT-4 right up the road. Sorry Bro, but there are alot more S/C and Turbo'd Mustangs than what you think.

i don't think there are many stock ss/sc cars in this forum any more. a few matbe but the majority are modded. I know my sc runs strong with about $800 worth of mods, dynod 260whp and runs 13.8s@105 mph.
I think I have a right to be cocky.

ummm...yeah...they're F'N everywhere....
you can get superchargers for stangs quite easily....plus whats the difference..it'll cost someone 3-4k to turbocharger a ss/sc.

Nice I was dyno'd 254 whp 237 tq. I think 6 whp from mine doesn't give a lot of room for error and I get raped by real racers.

where i live i have not seen a s/c or t/c gt. and the GT's i have beat are 05+. I also lost only by a door to a 05 Saleen Mustang 3V (non S/C) thats 325hp/340tq weighing 3600lbs from a 30roll to 100ish mph.
so mustangs arent as amazing as u think

that doesnt make sense...fyi...the non supercharged saleen your talking about is actually a tenth or two slower than a regualar gt because of the added weight of the rims and body kit.
