LOL I saw your post on the RSX fourms. I am patathSS over there too. Nice kill. Doesn't suprise me, the SS just doesn't seem to be as fast here as it was in Michigan. I would like to run someone out here but hopefully I'll see you at the meet Sunday.

Do you go to KU? And what the hell??? I have yet to see another SS/SC on the road!!!!

Haha, yea, someone on here asked if I knew you and I thought I did. Yes, I go to KU but I won't be at the meet because I will be in IA at my gf's family reunion.

Thanks, I think I will stay around. I find that with my current mods, the cobalt stock or mildly modified is about on par with me so I would like to hang out here and find out what I need to do to take out the majorly modified ones.

The only thing I have to say about him being a bad driver is that, being a bad driver only counts from a dig...even a shitty driver knows how to shift...I don't care how bad he may be, from a roll no skill is involved whatsoever...its all in the car.

lol, true...true

God, I would love to stay all motor, go with some IPS K2 cams and upgraded valve springs/retainers or Toda Racing top end kit and some ITBs. Reving to 9K RPMs and having a 260 whp N/A monster...omg!

I haven't stayed too up to date with the RSXs but I thought ITBs and cam guys were a lot closer to 300whp?

My good friend was the 2nd RSX to hit 12s all motor.

AGREED! Damn, I would SO take a TL. I would want the whole A-spec kit though. Those are the wheels I actually want for my car if I ever get a set but Acura wants $1800 for just the wheels w/o tires.

If the acura only ran a 14.9 I would deff. beat him from a dig. I run 14.5 stock bone stock nothing done. Least it was a respectable race.

Don't go turbo, my buddy did that to his 04 Type-S. It pulls like hell above 80mph, but by that time I am already so far ahead of him, the race is over. He can get wheelspin in third gear if he tries, it has to be maybe 300+ to the wheels on only 6psi. Really strong car, but not good for the street. His dad has one with 560Hp to the wheels, un freakin belivable. It can light the front tires at 100. Of course, not at all good to drive. He can only race on the highway, but the car sounds awesome.

Maybe, he's tried many types of Drag Radials, and nothing can hold that hard of a power hit. Remember, with the weight transfer, streetable suspension, stock body weight, stuff like that, no tires are gonna hold that much when 26 psi hits along with v-tec. It's just too much.

Then he needs to stiffen the raer suspension and try some damn mounts and t bars. Wheelie bar maybe? If I had that much power I would do what it takes to get it to the ground.

Yeah, he even admits that the car is useless right now. He needs to either turn the boost down or set the car up to put the power down. Just like my friend with a 2005 evo. His dad has a 90's mazda 323 that runs 35 pounds of boost. It's more of a study in what will break first than a fun car to drive. ******* scary car to be in though.
