last night.... well early this morning i was on my way home from picking a friend up at like 3 in the morning.... we were coming down the freeway and i came up on a 06 m3, not thinking anything about it i just stayed the speed i was going and was slowly going by him. when i got up in front of him he sped up and got side by side with me. he then does the 3 honk and were off. I dropped it down into third and pulled on him all the way through 3rd and half way through 4th when he slowly pulled whatever lead i had on him (im guessing no more then a car) and got to be about a half car/car length on me when we shut it down. We got side by side again and gave each other a thumbs up and went about our ways. It was so much fun knowing that i had him for a second and that he didnt pull that hard on me after that.

there was no traffic around and i let off mid 4th gear i think....
Ive got stage 2, airbox mod and etd. and i had 2 passengers in the car with me at the time.
Its only fair to assume that he was stock beings i never got the chance to really scope the car. He was the only person in his car.

 

those are nice cars but there heavy pigs lol they have really good topend stock though

Hey, M3's are fast cars. No need to be upset about the "loss" if you want to call it that. Think about the sticker price of that car and your own. I bet he was like "****, that Chevy costs half as much as this car and he pulled on me for a bit...WTF!".

It showed ***** to just race the guy because if it was a new M3, those things have 420 hp (if it was an '08). Either way, good race.

 

its okay,the way i see it is bmw's m3.m5 and most of the new bmw's have gear ratio's which makes them really good for highway runs,so if u can take a m3 off a roll on the highway u go one hell of a bad ass cobalt...

 

New M3's aren't out yet....scheduled delivery isn't scheduled for another lil while. My dad still hasn't gotten a phone call from the dealership as to when his White 08' M3 will arrive. Good run tho. E46M3's aren't that slow. Well they are now cause they are just as fast as the new 335i's. My boy has a E46M3 Cabriolet and he got pulled on in 3rd gear by a 335i coupe which works out as the Cabrio weighs more. You def did not run the new new new M3's..otherwise you would have gotten demolished!

 

yeah I think it was an 06. i went and looked up pictures of an 06 and it looked like what the pics showed. Id post up a pic, but im to friggin lazy.

thanks for all the comments. I think this race alone made me decide to keep my cobalt. Ive been contemplating on buying something else when i get my settlement, but now i think im going to keep the cobalt and drop some more money into it.
