I agree, like every weeknd in the summer time up here. I'm from Flint, MI and is one of the larest and best unnderground street racing in the north. Just mention Industrial Ave. to a real street racer and watch there eyes get big.

 

Yea Darwin seems pretty sheltered to have asked that question and not get the concept of why people don't give out charity runs with those kind of cars

 

You completely missed my point and argued a moot point. Look at what i first said. I said it was dumb to me for people with 20k cars to be racing for 500 bucks. I just don't think it is financially smart for the average person driving a 20k car to be throwing that kind of money around. I'm not trying to attack anyone's financial situation or whatever, i'm just saying. Then you bring in purpose built drag cars that trap 135+. I'm talking about the people here just like i said in my original post. That is exactly why I responded specifically to the part where you said i guess you'd need a car that traps 135+ to understand. How do you understand then? My car traps in the mid 120's so it's not like i don't know how expensive upkeep is when i've gone through a tranny and multiple clutches. I was never talking about guys with 50k+ drag cars and i even said that. Apparently you are just skimming my posts or something because you keep arguing a point completely off base.

I live in Bloomfield Hills. I rarely see 9 second street cars anywhere. The only time they really come out of the woods is the week or two before the dream cruise. That is the time the real "big dogs" come out and most of them are vettes, cobras, etc that have more than 50k at the least in their cars.

 

anywho. i killed a 95 a4 1.8t with an exhaust. lol.

mothereffer stopped me at a light to tell me that we shouldnt race on that road cause there was mad cops, light turns green he hard launches. still caught up to him. and i'm stock with a k&n drop filter.


p.s.: he does have 221k miles though. xD

it's all i've really tried so far. i just did it so that i could rub it in his face that he can lose to a base model economy car.

my best kills are in my sig... but my favourite of al is def. the race wit the yamaha R6.... and best of all its on video...

 

I'll assume this was with your wrx. What kind of modifications did you have to run down a 600cc bike and some of those cars?

 

in the wrx i had 850cc inj. utec (tuned by howard anderson) big 16g turbo wit 18g internals at 22psi on pump gas fully built sequential trans qauife front and mid lsd stage 5 dss axles huge fmic, meth inj ummmm dc sports header and up pipe 4.5 in catless exhaust that tapered to 3in at the axle back.... gutted rear half of car any thing not needed was takin out.... bumper bars etc. ummm cold air intake samco turbo inlet 2 step and anti lag ummm theres prolly more.. lol its been awhile since i had her....

she put down 315awhp and 345ftlbs of torque on 22psi on 93 oct.... never redynoed after my meth and c16 and 24 psi street tune.....

but she ran 12.6 at 110 or so on street tune and 12.3 @117 on race gas... never ran it on 24psi or wit the meth.... but i did sum nasty awd burnouts at sum of the balt meets round here... lol

 

so that's what happened to all the meeting spots!!! just kidding.. nice work.. don't think i've ever seen your wrx before. btw all that know evolve.. he put down 340awhp and roughly same tq. has a nice pull to it!!!
