LNF vs STI

This is my Intake, Exhaust, Tune lnf vs a Full bolt on & tune STI.

These are 40-100 rolls. We did a 60-120 and I was ahead by inches.

Its very tempting I still haven't got my race vs my buddy's Firebird yet so depending on how that race goes I may have to have you start working on a E tune. And to be honest as the car sits right now I don't know if I have enough to beat him. And I still need hard pipes and a front mount. Just had to do rear brakes on the car so im broke at the moment lol.

"The Gap God" lol

I am going to be racing a 5.7 GTO here soon. We have ran twice in the past I have posted the videos on here. He just got long tubes and a mid pipe so once those are on we are going to race again.

The 6.0 camera car beats the firebird I want to beat by like a fender.

Lol my car has seen its fair share of hot lapping. Wasnt thinking about it we were just out having fun and I was the chase car I think we did 10 or so runs in a row lol. Buddy ended up blowing up his CSRT4 that night racing me.

So lets say I switch to e47 how many logs do you think it would take to get it dialed in. and how closely do I have to monitor the quality of the e85 I am using? And how long is my clutch going to last lol.

Well ya of course the dodge blew. I would say 4 to 5 logs cause I don't rush it. Just send me a log every bit and I can watch the E. Don't worry about ur clutch it'll be fine. Only guys who had clutch problems quickly after switching that I tuned both ran some sort of race tires

Who are you tuned by? You shouldn't be losing to a stock turbo STI

Eric- have you ever done a 60-100 pull? Curious on the difference in altitude between yours and mine since we have the same turbo. What time did you get?

This. I ran a 20g swapped 08 wrx and pulled a car length on him during a roll race. The wrx dynod 360 whp/ 360 trq.

He had the 6 speed swap from the Legacy (rated for 400 trq), and all bolt ons possible.

later found out he had a boost leak but still squeaked out 360 whp with the leak and I pulled him.

And for the rest of you I'm tuned by KMO43. In the past that STI has put 2 cars on me from a 40 roll so im happy with the result.

E85 STi put down 340-350 whp. Most 93 tuned STi's put out about 300-315 whp but we weigh about 3400 lbs and with AWD, roll racing is not its forte. good races though.

Everyone blaming the tune yet it's the parts

With my bolt ons and when I was on 93 I beat faster cars than an sti, same tuner.

No. Stock intercooler is not holding him back. Stock intercooler is good for everything on the k04. You wont see a Hp increase going to a different intercooler lol.

Okay, I bet he's only hitting about 21-22psi, and stock intercooler flows horribly, leaving some timing out of the tune, I'm sure on stock clutch with stock intercooler he's got a good boost ramp. On all stock parts, he's doing pretty well. He can either have speed and unreliability with knock or he can have a safe tune.

I was running 24 psi reliably through my stock intercooler way before I even upgraded to a new one. The stock intercooler is not that bad. the problem with it..is the plastic end-tanks crack. Bar and plate intercoolers have more pressure drop compared to tube and fin.

The stock intercooler does flow horribly. Take your upgraded one off and look at your current tune with the stock intercooler on your car. You'll see a difference.
