So im rollin home from dinner with the wife and funny thing is.....id been watchin a few drag vids before we left earlier...and im lookin over at her sayin that its annoying that i always see nice cars cruisin but never up beside me so i can pull in my new ss/sc.
not more than 2 minutes later i see some nice bright blue headlights in my mirror and im curious what it is so i slow down a tad to let him catch up.

Its a new jetta. i dont know much about them so i move into the far right lane and let him get up beside me to get a look.

Next thing i hear is his BOV puffing and he hits it.
Im totally stoked to finally have someone to play with!
so when he pulls a full length from getting the jump....i yank over behind him and into the far left lane, im hitting 4500 in 3rd when i get on it and i grin as my AEM filter lets my SC scream in his ear (my only mod so far) and i grab a full 2 lengths before we both grab 4th.

4th gear is a complete wash and i shut it down with about 6 lengths.

WOOT.

so to my surprise and pleasure he takes the same exit as me and we take it gentle for about 10 clicks as i get closer to home.
we both stop at the stopsign and were both turning left onto a 2 lane (WOOT)
so i pull out gently and he sneaks into the lane beside me.

He lets his BoV make some noise beside me and were off again in a sweet 2nd gear pull.
again 2 lengths before we shift. I whip the window down and give him a huge thumbs up and he honks and his passenger thumbs up and i head home with a MASSIVE grin on my face.
