so anyways, my friend is in his moms mazda 6 (gay i know) with 2 other people, im in my cobalt with a full car load, we are driving side by side going about 70km/h, so we both go from a roll, i put it in 2nd, he hits the 3 honk beep and i take off immiediately putting a car on him by the end of 2nd, slam it into 3rd and continue pulling 2-3 more cars on him, then pop it into 4th and give it a tad more then let off...id say i had an easy 5-6 cars on him by the end of the race

he wants to challenge me with an altima 3.5L, i think that will be pretty even.

There big-ole-cars... They got good HP numbers... but thats about it...

The maximas are what you have to worry about. I realize they are the same car just about but it seems they run stronger for some reason... in any event not until you hit 4th do you get a comfy distance from them.

 

mazda 6's are weak. i beat a V6 version in my svt focus, so that tells you how weak they are.

 

I have a Mazda 3 GT and have driven a 6 quite a bit. Mazda 3's, 6's and RX-8's are not FAST cars. They were never designed to be, with a minor exception being made to the RX-8. The fact you can pull a 6 is not really a kill as much as a rib kick

With that being said I love the way my 3 handles, totally different feel than the cobalt, and its a sweet looking car. I also love the looks of the rx and 6 as well. They were not designed to be dragsters by any means.....

 

You're right.. they were not designed to be dragsters.. but neither was the cobalt.
