Ran into a kid today with a Mazda 6, 04ish. His only mod is exhaust. This guy was talking smack about the IRL said he raced one and had 2-3 cars on him after first gear, and then he proceded to say his car was faster then mine .I kind of laughed to myself at that point solely because i wouldnt hesitate to race a mazda6 lol. Oh he also said its neck and neck from a 40 roll. I personally have alot of confidence in racing him in my car and told him so . Ide be pissed to lose to a m6 , all i got are CAI and the gmpp exhaust, dont kno where im sittin in the whp range but its alot more then there stock 160 lol. So what you guys think, i can take him?

Pending on the 6, it could be a 220 hp v6 with the manual, in which case that car could be in the 14.5-14.7 range. You'll still beat him no doubt, but it might not be as much as you think.

 

It's just the 6 and not the speed6, right? The speed6 is a beast (270 hp/AWD). Just as fast as a Legacy GT. I always did like those cars, just a bit out of my price range at around 30k.
